Ozark (2017)
The Finale left me flat
I loved Ozark through ALL it's seasons but the final episode did not do the series justice. It frankly left me flat and disappointed. It left giant holes in the plot and could've done some characters better justice.
Away (2020)
A whiny soap opera.
She's a very weak commander with a whiny crew. They trained together for 2 years yet they still can't get along. Plus, what's with the calling Earth with a cell phone??? The cell phone reception on Earth is spotty and difficult yet these astronauts just pick up the phone and dial for a perfect call. One wonders if they don't have more urgent duties to tend too. I'm through E4 and am starting to have trouble watching this "drama". Really, she left her husband with a severe medical issue and a teenage daughter for a 3 year trip??
Goliath (2016)
S-3 seems Lost and Wierd
OK, I'm only 3 episodes in, however, I don't get how the LSD/Trippy stuff even needs to be part of the plot. Already the plot seems WEIRD like S-2. I'll keep watching because it's hard to look away from potential train wreck.
The Curse of Civil War Gold (2018)
DVR the show and fast forward......
DVR the show and fast forward through it. There is so much repetition with lame side stories that you only need to watch 50% of the show. If that much at all.
They all sit around bobbing their heads in agreement. I stuck with Oak Island (barely). CWG is more the same but much more boring.
Also, I can't stand Robert Clotworthy, the narrator.
Bullitt (1968)
Kinda Boring
I watched Bullit again recently and found Steve McQueen's acting lacking. It struck me how many scenes there were with McQueen just standing there staring into space. Maybe the car chase was ahead of it's time. But McQueen's acting was like he was just walking through it..No passion. I was however very envious that he had Ms. Bisset 'stashed' at home anxiously waiting for him all the time.
Mulholland Dr. (1999)
"Lost" , The Movie
Just make it up as you go. This movie jumps from here to there and at the end you can't believe it was dream because the dreamer is dead..so what is it?...Like the TV show "Lost" this movie just makes stuff as it goes..
Jack Ryan (2018)
Same old, same old.
Watched Episode 1 and that's it for me. There's nothing new here. The last 1/3 of the episode involved a big bright fire-fight. So many bullets flying and yet the jihadi's trucks pulled away intact with no bullet holes. Our guys couldn't hit the mortar despite being set up behind the Toyota's and it took them forever to call for armor. Can you imagine the amount of lead flying at those trucks 100 yards from the compound and they just drove away!
The entire scene was Ridiculous.
Looking forward, I find (Former Adm.) Greer is a Muslim..really a Muslim?
PC Crappola. I'm done.
Better Call Saul (2015)
"Lost" it's way.
BCS is BORING....The show has lost it's way and like the show Lost is just making unrelated stuff out of whole cloth..BCS has hatched multiple mini-plots that are seemingly UN-related to the original plot...I'm sorry but I find a cartel shoot-out just boring and common NOT creative..
Quit Stalling Writers...develop the characters and plot!
Midsomer Murders (1997)
Neil Dudgeon
I find Neil Dudgeon's Barnaby to be a one dimensional character...The series was never meant to taken too seriously. It always had a quirky and light-hearted element to it with John Nettles...Since Neil Dudgeon came aboard initially he was OK but as the series progressed Dudgeon said less and for the most part stood and stared and said "hmm". It was like his character was slowly turning solid. I miss the days of Tom Barnaby when the show was fun. Jones and Troy were the best sidekicks..
