Director who let actors gave stunning performance
7 November 2019
What a great movie.Co-written by Joel Edgerton, I would say good show mate. Great costumes and directing. The dialogue is fantastic. The soundtrack really puts you in the moment of the characters. I would also say that the fight scenes were really realistic unlike other fight scenes were you feel there's a lot of choreograph movements but watching this movie looks like it's, the fights, not choreographed at all, like mad fighting which should be the case in the mud and also during Prince Henry of Wales vs Sir Henry Percys fight scene. A good cast and great performance by Timothée Chalamet. All that said, the cast would not have done this with out a great Director behind the camera. Hats off to you David Michôd, cheers mate.

Movie has twist. Some comments on the Editors of this movie
17 October 2019
As a NON-Chinese speaker this was great movie. This was brilliant screen writing. Not only that, the marvelous cast of Chow Yun-fat and Aaron kwok made this even better. Aaron Kwok is a amazing choreographer and singer but to see him in an acting role that delivers his potentials is priceless. Another actor, Chow Yun-fat is one of my favorite actors especially during the John Woo era of cinema. He has in-depth emotions really embodies his characters with ease. The embodiment the characters they portray was brilliant. The Director also did a great job in this movie although a little help with the editors when making this movie should have been supervised. There was just a little confusing but I did to figure out the plot obviously. Just when did Yuen Man a.ka Sau Ching met Lee Man should be in re-structorizer (hope my english spelling is correct) in this film so the flow of the movie will be more understandable to a viewer who is a non-Chinese fan. Maybe I wasn't paying much attention but over all this was a great movie and a good twist. Thank you so much for this movie.

Keeps you wondering which side is playing who
3 October 2019
The script writing for this movie is by far better than most spy stories. Always keeps you wondering who is playing who? Makes you wonder what is she up to next. Looking vulnerable but with a strong heart but at the end of the day we all do it for the one's we really love, our family.

Hope we have more movies like this to come.

Polar is a good movie. It would be good to see a sequel
3 October 2019
This movie has potential for a sequel. It's good to see actors like Mads Mikkelsen in this thriller. He took on the part well and Vanessa Hudgens although her part was small made a great impact on the movie for my point of view. She was in unrecognizable in this movie and the twist at the end. It's a good feel movie and I hope they do a sequel on this maybe exploiting the years Mads character was a hitman and finding redemption in helping out Vanessa's character learn the trade of a killer. I would love to see how Mad's character develop Vanessa's character into a killer since he is retired. Have fun watching this movie. Cheers

Superb Military Maneuvers
29 September 2019
I don't usually watch foreign films. However, this is base from real life event. Although the characters in film especially the military characters are based off from real life unsung heroes they amazed me by the military style operation in the film which was to me very realistic. The characters who played those military personnel also made it more realistic. For a debut director I have my hats off to you sir! This movie was worth watching and I look forward to more movies coming out like this.

Great Character building and amazing diaglogues
29 September 2019
I don't usually watch foreign films before but this was a in-depth amazing film. It has character building. It shows perspective on both sides both civilian and the military on their ideas on how to build a better world. Stunning cinematography and incredible dialogues. It makes you understand why to become a soldier is not all about glory but really to serve it's people. It shows also why journalist do what they do show the cruelty that is in the world and why they criticize violence against violence and human rights. It shows also the civilians who fall in between as victims and the conflict of standing by to do your duty or doing what you know is right. Here you will really have an understanding on what it really means to serve and have a country. On further note: If it's true that the Turks army do not curse then I have deeper respect for that kind of military discipline. A REAL Officer and a gentlemen. My hats off to the maker of this film. You should be proud on making this film and sharing it to the world.
