Ela Veezha Poonchira (2022)
Award worthy, slow burn, nicely scripted and directed film
A beautiful slow burn thriller genre film shot in the backdrop of picturesque hills and natural landscape.
The acting. Direction and script are top notch. The tension in the film comes as much from the natural elements used in the film as from the story and the characters.
The background score and the music add to the story nicely. There is a lot of subtle elements that add to the story and characters. It seems slow at the start but thinking back every scene and how a character acts and reacts in that scene helps the audience understand their nature and the way that character is built.
It's a great piece of art.

Drag, a big stretched out drag
This show could probably just be an hour long and still feel long enough and pretty much present the entire story without missing any important detail. It is full of filler scenes that seem to be executed in slow motion and repetitively just to stretch out and fill as must time as any sequence can.
The side characters and their stories have no effect on the plot and again seem to be put in to stretch the story to a certain number of hours. The show is full of slow motion sequences run long enough and run repetitively enough to put one to sleep.
The performances are decent. The background score is fairly decent as well.

One of the best...
Solid storyline, direction and acting. The twist makes it perfect.
Karma (2015)
Substandard acting, bad writing and direction...
A great attempt spoilt by bad acting which seemed surprising given there are just 2 actors, could have done way better. The plot is weak too, gives away the climax way in advance. Not worth a watch.
