Animal Kingdom (2016–2022)

The most overrated piece of trash on television.
23 October 2022
This is the most overrated, overacted, ridiculously unrealistic television program ever!!! It sucks! There is nothing likable about this show. It's like watching nails on a chalkboard. Please do not waste your time on this trash! It's poorly acted, poorly written, horribly produced and cringingly directed. Puppet shows are more realistic than this garbage. The actors must have been extremely desperate for work to even consider taking being in something this horrible. I mean it must have been this or cleaning toilets. But at least cleaning toilets would have been respectable work. Accepting a role in this...thing is just sad.

Detroit 1-8-7 (2010–2011)

This is the Best Police Drama on network TV since NYPD: Blue
22 September 2010
I lived in the heart of the Detroit for 21yrs and I still live close by. This show has great potential! And I think that will show in the coming episodes that are shot completely in Detroit and surrounding communities(most of the pilot was shot in Atlanta). It's great to have a show that's set in a city like Detroit and not your typical NY, LA, SF, Chicago, or Miami. To let everyone know, from local news stories on the production of the show, the director is from Detroit and everything (since the pilot) is shot, and produced right here in Detroit. Yes there were a few minor "mistakes" in the pilot I seen people complain about, saying "soda" we call it "pop", and there is no bullet train, but these are very minor things that can't be faulted when all we've seen was the pilot episode. Minor fixes for what I honestly believe will be a great show that is TRUE TO DETROIT because it is being MADE IN DETROIT! Please give it the chance it deserves!

WhY So SeRiOuS ? ! ? ! ? Because This Is What A BATMAN MOVIE Is Supposed To Be ! ! !
19 July 2008
There is no other way to say it other than to say...This movie is frickin' AWESOME!!! I seen it tonight on the regular screen and I will be going to see it on IMAX before the weekend is up. It plays like a crime drama, not superhero movie. And as far as crime dramas go, The Dark Knight is at the top of my list.

There has never been a better Batman/Bruce Wayne than Christian Bale. He plays with just the right intensity. He is the first actor to play Batman, who is actually intimidating as the Dark Knight. Definitely a force to be reckoned with.

Heath Ledger as the Joker was perfect. Even Jack Nicholson has to take his hat off and bow his head in respect to Ledger and his Joker. While watching his performance you are in amazement. His portrayal of the Joker made me realize what true acting talent is. There aren't many actors or actresses that are in a class by themselves. Heath Ledger was one of them. After seeing The Dark Knight, I just now realize what a huge talent he had the potential to become. Just like The Crow would have been to Brandon Lee's career, so would The Dark Knight have been To Ledger. What a huge loss. And to those that think his death adds sympathy to his performance and garner Oscar talk; Once they see The Dark Knight they will too be in awe as they realize that dead or alive, an Oscar nomination(and win)is undoubtedly deserved.

As for kids, The movie is geared towards an older audience, if they are under the age of 13 and depending on the amount of violence and how easily they get bothered by darker films (or film characters, you may want to see this film before allowing them to. Because Ledger's menacing Joker and Even the brutality of Bale's Batman may be disturbing to some younger kids. There are moments in the film where I am almost surprised it didn't receive an "R" rating.
