John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023)

I'm thankful.

I don't know how to describe this masterpiece of art. In a century of CGI and cut scene massacres. Best to describe it: I'm thankful being able to see the best action movie in the 21 century.

I enjoyed every dialogue, every scene, every perspective and - of course - every headshot. The whole movie is well thought out. Every second has the right to exist. In my 24 years of human being I was never hyped like this. My expectation was 10/10. The movie just had to disappoint me. But it didn't. It surpassed my expectations.

I talked to a friend and we both said that we could talk one hour about every scene. The desert-horse scene. The Tokyo-continental scene. The German-Club scene. The Paris-car scene. The shotgun-onetake scene. The Paris-stair scene. The dog scenes. The duel scene. And of course those little partly funny partly crazy scenes (for instance the dog pissing on somebody's face after demolishing him or the arrow in the knee upside down scene).

Every character is perfectly selected. And of course the story line and those details about the John Wick universe is well picked.

This is a masterpiece of art. Thanks Mr Reeves.

It's my first turkish movie i've seen so far. And it's the nicest, most awesome movie existing. After 1500 movies rated on IMDB i just cried because of a handful movies (for example Passion Christi). And I cried a lot because of this movie. Great! Wonderful!

Wrath of Man (2021)

Greatest movie. What a surprise.

To be honest I didn't expected very much. I like Jason Statham a lot, but I thought this is just another action movie as usually. But this movie is insane. There is nothing negative to say.

Starting with the music the movie created a thrilling atmosphere. And thrilling is exactly the word which fits perfectly for the movie. The plot was awesome - a little puzzle. The brutality and atmosphere is absolutely epic. Jason Statham showed his best acting skills of all time.

The Darkest Minds (2018)

Great female main actor, but the male actors are bad.

I like the idea of the film and also the story is nice. But the love story between the main actors is very cringe. The two white male actors are so unsympathetic.

Acting of the main female actor was nice.

Cloud Atlas (2012)

The movie is about rebellions in the past, the present and the future. There are different story's about in different tenses. The plots aren't really linked but in all they are. In every epochs were crime, hate and bad people. But there is always love and because of Jesus Christ love will always be.

In the beginning of the movie I was confused and also after the movie I'm still confused. But it doesn't matter. And it's fine.

Awesome is how there is a future which is very distopic and then there is a following future, linked to the first future.

What can I do alone? An Ocean is just a big amount of drips.

Cruella (2021)

I had no expectations from this movie, But I was very surprised. The outfits are awesome and crazy. The movie is very dark or shall I say colorful? The plot is crazy and the actors did their job very well. Shoutouts to the main actor. She did an absolutely great job. The contrast of black and white and the whole scenery created a breathtaking set.

Very exciting story. I hadn't any expectations, but I'm very surprised. The story is thrilling. Not the best actors and not high budget, but I like it.

The Prestige (2006)

I love Christopher Nolan's movies. This one is also great and like every Film of him a masterpiece. The story is absolutely great and the spectator has to be concentrated. But it's not as complicated as interstellar, memento or tenet. And I knew the plot twist approximately after the half of the film meanwhile in movies like Memento you get it not until the very end.

I haven't had any expectations. But this movie surprised me. It's very cringe and funny. But the scenes are mostly realistic and really filmed.

In the beginning I had to laugh a lot. But approximately in the half of the movie it became very sad and I had to think on my relationships with my family. Great movie. It's like a mirror for my self.

It wasn't boring in not even a single second. The actor skills and the great story will make you unbelievable excited the whole movie. It's like you're in the middle of the events and you'll forget that it's just a movie. In some scenes I catched myself saying be quiet, because it's so thrilling.

I'am very surprised that Jackie Chan is such a great actor in a seriously movie and a role that isn't just comedy. The movie is great, the plot is very ambitious. Pierce Brosnan did a great job, but Jackie was even greater. It's a nice Thriller and the story is advanced.

The Passion of the Christ (2004)

Greatest story because it's true.

I cried the whole movie. The movie is great, I think some Charakters or scenes aren't exactly like it's discribed in the Bibel, but in general it's very well done. Im completely impressed of how much pain Jesus took for all of us.

It seems that the whole movie is directed in just one take. There are literally no cut's in this movie. It's like you're in the middle of every scene. It's like you are next to the actors in between the fight. The story is great, it's never boring. They used just one camera.

The story is absolutely great. I wasn't bored in a single frame. The ending is heartbreaking. The action, story and actors are amazing. And the story probably could be true.

Memento (2000)

It's very complex and complicated. The whole film consists of flashbacks, which is very hard to watch. But you're solving the puzzle. At the end there are still pieces of the puzzle lacking. It's a very complex story. Too many flashbacks. There is no red thread.

Darkland (2017)

Very realistic.

This is a great movie. It's very realistic, not just like other movies where one guy is beating hundreds of bad guys. In this Movie also the bad guys are punching back. It's a great story which shows the side effects of revenge.

It's nice how the movie deals with the violence and verbal attacks of criminals now a days. There is no honor or respect in this generation.

The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

Absolutely amazing. One of the great movies I've ever seen.

This movie is great. I watched it in 2020, 25 years after it was released & now I know why it's the best movie at IMDB. The story is absolutely amazing with a very nice end. It's not one of the endings where you're asking yourself what? Is that all? Do I have to figure out what's going to happen? The actors did a great job. Though the movie is very long it wasn't boring at once. Sometimes it's very sad and you feel bad for the Charakters, but very often you have to smile, not because it's funny, because it's amazing.

In the beginning you think it's a boring story which is completely told. But at a certain point you find yourself solving the puzzle. Sometimes it's very funny but brutal at the same time. It's a great movie with a complex plot.

Great historical and still current story

The style of acting is strange dir European or western countries. But its an absolut great story, which is picking up racism against Chinese in the USA. This topic is still current because of people like Donald Trump. Sometimes it's very sadly to watch, but the fights are great and it's a worthy end. Love to see the peace in the art of Kong Fu and the many story lines which lead to one last fight.

Too long but very realistic. Robert De Niro is a Great actor. This movie is his masterpiece. But the movie is a little bit too long. Very great is how old and jung in one movie Robert is looking.
