Mr. Robot is influenced by many TV shows and movies, including 'The Matrix', 'Fight Club' and many more... Even though it is influenced by lots of other movies and shows, it has made these influences something new and special, like we've never seen before. Season one is just great, from the first episode we can learn the show is unique and special. Elliot is a justice warrior, cyber security worker by day, and a vigilante by night, using his hacking skills to catch the bad guys. But it's more than that. Elliot needs to confront his own issues. And as the show moves on we learn that Elliot is not the hero we think, he's a guy with a good will that wants to "save the world", but has deep issues. The show has a couple of mind-blowing twists, and it is really great. Even though I think season two focuses more on the revolution that Elliot has begun and less on his mind (even though it does), I think the second season is great. Great show, recommend it!

A really good show, funny and emotional

An excellent show! Pete Holmes succeeds to make a funny show, while having lots of cameos from famous people in the stand-up industry. The plot is great, and the relationship between Pete and his wife are interesting, and evolving each episode. It is really nice to watch the progress of Pete, trying to evolve his career as a comedian. Also, I really like the contrast between the naivete of Pete and the sarcasm of the stand-up world. A really great show. Recommended!
