Hwayugi (2017)
Romance, drama, comedy and horror in a perfect balance
The TV show is quite unique and the concept is pretty interesting. It has a lot of funny moments and it is really an amazing experience to watch it. The acting is quite good and so is the story. It combines romance, drama, comedy and also horror in the most unexpected way which makes you feel like you are on an emotional roller coaster. It is a very balanced mix and you end up wanting to watch more and more. The characters are very interesting and have the potential to grow. If you want a lot of CGI and a lot of special effects - this is not the show for you. There are some special effects and they are not that awesome, but they are not that important to the story line. I hope this show gets as many seasons as possible because it certainly has the potential to last long.
Fallen (2016)
Don't waist your time with this BAD Twilight-like movie
It is so poorly written that it will make you cringe. It is basically Twilight but instead of vampires and werewolves you get only angels that are poorly written. Later I found out that it was based on books, hope the books are better.
The movie introduces a young teenager called Lucinda being enrolled in the one and only facility in the world where crazy/weird-ish teenager are accepted. Every time she looks at someone her face expression is like I am so fascinated and trying to look like Bella from Twilight. There is literally no backstory or anything that will make the supposed main and supporting characters interesting. There are a lot of stereotypical teenagers-angels which are portrayed by actors who look old enough to be last year in college/university. You cannot get emotionally involved in any character because the whole movie was Lucinda being confused and having unanswered questions. If you need explanation to why she loves her soulmate so much, you wont find it in the movie. The Jacob-inspired guy is not even an option for her although most of the scenes where she is not magnetized by Daniel /a.k.a Edward/ she spends with him. The whole movie is so predictable that it is really not worth the time... And the ending scene was weird and the expressions of the actors were: I think I have a constipation...
I liked the idea of the wings from light and the music was not bad. Everything else was awful.
Das kalte Herz (2016)
Nice movie to watch but not good for a younger audience /children/
Review without spoilers
I rate it 7 out of 10. At first I was skeptical because I didn't think that the actors would portray it good, but overall I felt the acting was nice. It is based on a more darker fairy tale and that is why almost every part of the movie brings the feeling of that heavy drama, which I liked a lot. The music, for me, was coordinated excellent and brought some good feelings. I think that the movie is not suitable for children and younger audience because I doubt that they would get it and there are many things that aren't explained and you deduce them, therefore it would be too heavy for a child. I would recommend watching it for people who read the tale.

The "Glasmännchen" was a little bit strange and I think that it needed one or two more explanation about their role in the end. The ending felt a little bit rushed, it could've taken a little bit more time to explore the story about "Holländer-Michel" and to emphasize more on the feelings of the people who go to him. It would've been a nice touch if they showed why Löbl and Etzel decided to go to "Holländer-Michel" and I felt that their role was almost needless in the plot. There were some holes in the plot that could have been explored definitely and by holes I mean more stories to be told. I really expected in the end when Lisbeth was resurrected Peter to beg her for forgiveness, to kneel and just to express a little bit more the feelings he had, but I guess they decided to emphasize on their expressions more. Also I didn't get the roles of the supporting characters, it was like they should have some kind of meaning but you have to literally read their faces in order to understand something. As a person who loves to read, the lack of words on some places in the movie honestly annoyed me, but even with all of its flaws the movie is worth watching. The make up artists did a good job, honestly that transformation of Frederick Lau is worth mentioning. For some reason after he returned from Holland he reminded me of Ralph Fiennes. Felt that Voldemort vibe and made a big difference. The movie is ambitious in a way because it makes you read people's faces and emotions, rather than just hearing/reading lines/subtitles.
