Dhoop Ki Deewar (2021)
Very apt for the current situation
Its the most amazing TV show I have ever watched with such a unique story line. Very few film makers have dared to venture into this type of story line afraid of the type of response it will get. But I am pleased to see a above 7 rating meaning that most people liked it. I hope that the Indian film makers can reciprocate this gesture by making something in the lines of friendship between India and Pakistan. It will definitely be a voice that will atleast try to bring peace between our two nations that was once one nation.
I feel greatful to the creators especially Umera maam. Thank you so much.
Chintu Ka Birthday (2020)
Cheers to Vinay Pathak
This movie is so enjoyable! Vinay Pathak has done it again - he will make you cry and laugh at the same time and who I think is the most underrated comidian. I only wish he would do more films!
Out of Love (2019)
Great Movie but not original!
You will really enjoy this movie but what I did not like about it is that it is an exact scene by scene rip off of Doctor Foster an English tv series.
Hacksaw Ridge (2016)
A perfect movie!!
HACKSAW RIDGE is one the best movies I have ever seen. Till I watched this, I had known of only one person who has practiced non-violence, Gandhi, and who taught the world the wisdom of non- violence, of turning one's right cheek after being slapped on one's left. I grew up with people telling me that non-violence can't work in the present world but I believe it can. Non-violence is not for the cowards its for the bravest of men and this is what the life of Desmond Doss teaches us.
"You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.' But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. If anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, let him have your coat also..."
-The Bible Matthew 5:38-42
Everything about this passage is contrary to common sense. Yet, this is what makes following Jesus radical, distinctive, beautiful — and profoundly difficult!
