(Un)Well (2020)
Informative, but lacking conclusions
In general I found this documentary series very informative, it made me know several practices that I was not aware of. And it shows both sides of the coin. But I lacked that the series had concluded if the practices approached were good or bad, I understand that maybe this nape had been the objective of the series, but for me everything ended very "open"
The Ripper (2020)
Very complete
Another very complete docuseries crime on Netflix, it goes very deep into the analysis of the investigation and the public reactions to it. The documentary caught me from start to ending, although it got a little bit more tiring in the middle. I believe "The Rippeer" is a full plate for those who already love this "truecrime" genre.
Whose Vote Counts, Explained (2020)
Good
It is good within what it proposes to do, which is just to inform. The graphics, interviews and information are generally very well made and presented in the series. I was a little confused with some explanations sometimes, but I could get everything that really mattered. For those who have doubts about the US electoral process, it is interesting to watch, but f
those who are already well informed about it, can pass it
After Truth: Disinformation and the Cost of Fake News (2020)
An extremely necessary documentary
I found the approach of
After Truth: Disinformation and the Cost of fake news" very complete and grounded. It brings very famous cases of recent fake news and makes a very interesting analysis about them and shows how harmful they can be. The fact that many conspiracy theorists are irritated by this documentary, just proves how much this was a necessary and truthful documentary. I just thought it got a little confusing in the middle and that they could have explored some more of the issues covered. Other than that, it's just wonderful!
Unsolved Mysteries (2020)
Chilling Series
I really enjoyed the series. It managed to win my attention in every episode. All the cases very well explained in the episodes and allows us to have a good basis to form our theory about each case. I found everything very well done in the series, I have nothing to complain about. Recommend it.
Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich (2020)
A very strong and chilling series
This case really showed me how perverse a human being can be and set up a giant abuse scheme for a long time destroying the lives of several young women and due to his power and money, save himself from it for so long. My congratulations and solitude to these women who suffered so much at the hands of this monster and all the other monsters out there. Everything in the series is very well explained and well done. It seems that all this goes well beyond Jeffery Epstein and involves a lot of powerful people. Thank you Netflix for giving survivors a voice and once again exposing problems in the judicial system that need to be resolved
Trial by Media (2020)
Very interesting
I thought the documentary did a great job of portraying the cases, their repercussion in the media and the public's reaction to it. And it leaves us with a big question, if all this attention given by the media for certain cases is positive . In addition, the documentary also portrays the cases very well and also expose the problems in the judicial system. I just won't give it the maximum rating because I thought some episodes were too tiring to watch
