Jeepers Creepers 3 (2017)
It's a no for me dawg
The fact that this director is a rap!st and has managed to continue to make films where he lives out his nasty fantasy is insane. He literally created a character that take part of little boys and then discard them.
The monster is called the "creeper." Insane how they continue to give him a platform and access to teenagers.
Also it's sloppy writing.
Savage x Fenty Show Vol. 3 (2021)
It's not for the Victoria Secrets Stans.
If your version of fashion and beauty is cookie cutter women starving themselves in prison labor made lingerie then don't watch this.
This is for fans of fashion that understand the world is diverse and evolving. That beauty isn't dictated by conglomerates but by the people that live in this diverse world.
The clothing is geared towards rap and hip hop culture and the cinematography is aimed towards fans of heavy and artistic Lighting.
Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey (2020)
Not for those who have lost their childhood wonder
Is the story unique? Maybe not but it's not a remake or a reimagining
The characters are fun and whimsical. The costumes and hair design are so beautiful. I adore musicals and the fact that most of the songs moved the story along and introduced characters as opposed to just making a song, is a sign that this was very thought out.
I watched this with a group of people whose first language is not English and they loved it. Watched it again with a group of English speaking kids and they had tons of fun.
I hate Christmas but this brought me a bit of Chris spirit.
Black Is King (2020)
Stunning and not for everyone.
It seems like a lot of the people on here that didn't seem to like it...don't seem to like Beyoncé or black representation.
So I guess all I can say is by seeing some of these reviews, just watch it for yourself.
The cinematography is amazing. The styling and visuals are so strong. I cant wait to research some of the different cultures and ceremonies represented. If you want to hear Beyoncé's music accompanied by striking visuals that create black empowerment, then this is for you. If not, then watch what you are used to and stay in your comfort zone.
USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage (2016)
Made me look up the true story
The script is mediocre.
There are some hilarious anachronistic issues and inaccuracies.
The script isn't the worst. Dialogue is somewhat organic.
Nic cage? Flawless!
All in all it was meh, but I looked up the true story and it's super interesting. Wish the movie did more research on the event.
Between Worlds (2018)
The stars are specifically for Cage
The only good part of this movie is Nicolas Cage's always captivating acting. The plot felt all over the place.
He just met this woman and was willing to go along with this wild ride?
All of a sudden she knew his backstory? All of a sudden he knew hers?
The acting is dry and the script is ssoooooo cheesy.
I tried y'all. I did. But the only reason I got through it all was because I'm trying to watch every Nic Cage movie ever made.
