Licorice Pizza (2021)
WTF
Cooper Hoffman (the son of Philip Seymour Hoffman) is a real find as a 15-year-old go-getter; rushing around on pure youthful adrenaline, he's a sweet kid who hustles himself first before delivering product, parlaying his schemes into reality. Before she knows it, Alana Haim's "older woman", a kids' photographer in her twenties, is meeting this kid for a soda. She's dazzled by his self-assurance but keeps her awe somewhat in check.
The above is from a "TOP" review literally a couple of days after Prince Andrews settlement and other various articles on male perversions on helpless females.
Just 3 letters.
WTF.
Plan A (2021)
The killing of innocents is never justified
One does not need a belief in God to know that killing innocent children etc is never justified.
The Little Things (2021)
So tired of people who shouldn't review anything but comics
An excellent movie and by far one of the best I've seen in some months.
I'm not sure what happened to IMBD but it seems to infested these days that would give a thumbs down to anything but simplistic garbage.
Maybe it's the meth and all of the other drugs.
Then we have the usual know it alls who have been on here since day one but they are easily spotted and dismissed.
If you like mature viewing and complex issues give this a view and don't listen to the deplorables.
Run Hide Fight (2020)
Now I know why the women in our lives just shook their heads at Rambo movies
A totally preposterous movie with the required wokeness worked into the plot.
Not a surprise considering the times we are in and it is implemented rather well.
The movie itself is actually quite good if one suspends reality except for my one beef. and I'm being generous.
The notion that the rest of the school and the world took so long to find out that the cafeteria was under siege was very hard to fathom, even in a flick such as this.
Other than that, it is isn't really that far fetched from many a movie I saw as a young man and still to this day.
If, as a guy, you could sit through the totally unrealistic action movies with the hero as a man, than this one shouldn't be a let down.
