Seth, What Happened?

The Orville New Horizons must have been neutered by disney, that's the only reason it could be so mediocre. I absolutely loved seasons 1 and 2, so what happend , Seth? Only way you could make the show on hulu? Very bad pacing, sloppy writing, no HUMOR, come ON. I really like Dr. Finn's character, but she can't carry the show with a guest star. It feels like the episode is TWO HRs. Long, VVVery slow. Visuals are perfect, love the new ships, Charley Burke, etc. If this is the show now, I am done. That is why I don't watch picard or strange new whatever.

Give us a STORY that moves faster than 2 MPH. Episode 3 just plain SUCKED. There, I said it. I hope the next episode is better, I really do. Thanks for seasons 1, 2.

Boss Level (2020)

Frank is Outstanding.

It is good to see Mel as a baddie. Great stuff. All the PC trolls tearing this film down, Fek Off! Excellent action, and frank can act. Too bad it's not populated with transgender snowflakes- NOT! Loved it. A time loop done well.

The writing of this film is terrible, disjointed acting, pointless ultra violence ( I do like violence in my movies, but it doesn't work here), and last but not least; no plot. The only reason for 2 stars is Ildris.

Gary Graham is a very underrated actor. This series pissed off someone in the studio because it didn't;t make season 2. Very good writing, acting for the late 80's It's not Babylon 5 but it's up there. They talked about subjects that are commonplace now, but made people uncomfortable back then. Worth watching, owning.

Angels Die Hard (1970)

Great Biker flick from Corman

I don't know about the other reviews, but this is possibly the best biker flick of 70. Good cast with William Smith- GREAT Bikes, and a partial plot. That was more than 90 percent of the biker movies from that time. I got mine from Snappy video, and they cleaned it up fairly well, in Widescreen with a good soundtrack. Even has real songs, though dated. This is one for the late night library.

Read Joseph Campbell. Study History. Learn about relationships. Learn how to write a screenplay. Balance your characters in a plot. If you can do these things you may have a chance to create something EPIC. This film did not have any of this. Sorry J.J., didn't happen. I think you gave it a shot with what you had- sadness. Goodbye Star Wars. Time to create something new.

You need a strong story to carry a film, not CGI. These actors deserved better. I walked out after 45 minutes.

I enjoyed it from start to finish. great acting, story, editing, music- the whole bag. Critics are payed off to dis movies- also to overate them ( the last jedi). I would watch Will and Joel in anything after this.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)

The only good thing I can say about this film is the fine work of ILM, their work is fantastic. BUT- the movie is garbage. I saw the original film 4 times the same day and twice the next day in 1977, I was hooked! Story-characters-caring- being immersed in the film, all this is lacking in Rouge One . I could care less about the characters. No real plot. No passion. My Grandmother could have directed better. No emotion. No development. Simple eye candy. At least JJ Abrams put some passion in EP 7. Disney needs to have screenwriters and directors with commitment to the fans do these films, or destroy the myth. If you HAVE to see it, go to the early show at the $2 cinemas.
