Sci-Die what?

This movie is so out of synch on the dialogue. Some of the actors look very young for their parts like a Colonel who looks and sounds about twelve. UFO's and alien obsession leaves me cold but this was bad. Badly done and delusional in the extreme.

Most of the reviews I read after watching this movie hold far lower standards than the movie. If you don't like it. Fine. Is there any need or justification for rudeness and vulgarity. I think not. This review is in part, an indictment of all the selfish and opinionated reviews that are hateful rather than helpful. To the reviewer that complained that the meteor shower didn't make sense? That's because it wasn't a meteor shower but had you paid attention you would know that. Anybody who complains about the acting is not a good judge of acting. It was a strong cast and they did a great job. Period. Comparing it to close encounters is only valid from the point of view of an inhabitant of another world wishing to return home. Other than that it has no relationship with that Spielberg nonsense.

I have only one minor criticism of this movie. It is slow paced. Other than that. It kept me engaged thru til the end.

Whenever I watch a foreign language movie, dubbed or subtitled. I always find a bunch of reviews written by people who do not understand their own culture and are incapable of understanding any others.

The super hero genre has been done to death, evident in the last two Avenger movies which have only done well because the balk audience has been brain washed with the avalanche of movies that have preceded them.

I have been a sci-fi fan my entire life. Starting with mostly space opera books, a few comics and in the last couple of decades, movies. At 57 years I would definitely consider myself a mature viewer and certainly not an easy target audience.

Super hero's and Masked avengers do seem to be a fundamentally American thing. That in itself is symptomatic of a need for fulfillment.

There is very little in the way of originality in this movie but as far as I can tell. It was fairly well executed and kept me engaged until the end. Also I have experience of and love the German sense of humor.

One reviewer actually referred to the dubbing as Turkish? That person should definitely stop taking their meds and maybe they will discover their true self?

My first thought was, not another mars mission story?

It's a drama and a political one.

I got half way thru the first episode before I realized just how political?

The entire concept of the colonization of Mars was summed up during the opening press briefing. Solve the problems on our own planet before wasting money on one rich billionaires dream.

Anybody know of a sci-fi story where the main protagonist wasn't an alien or indeed an alien environment? I bet you do. lol Keep it. It's special.

I have seriously invested in a really good audio system for listening to music and watching movies so the first thing I will notice is the audio quality. I thought it was a bit loud so I lowered the volume a touch. Hmm? What happened to the sound? In a shot with 3 people pretty much stood back one from the other. I could barely hear the two closest and the one at the back was too loud. After turning the volume back up and a bit more. Things didn't improve much and after a few minutes the volume increased to an uncomfortable level. I'm done. I often watch movies late at night and I don't wish to any my neighbors or deafen myself. I get that with some movies. The volume is increased during action scenes (I find this practice extremely annoying) but this wasn't that. I can't say it was badly edited either because to my ear it sounded like nobody was paying attention to how the movie would sound and levels where being adjusted ad hoc. I gave up 14 minutes into the movie so I can't really speak for the entire movie. This was enough for me.

Was all the one star ratings writed by the same person? They mostly say it was boring except a couple that mention farts. I thought the last two Avenger movies was boring. So much action you can't follow anyofit. I thought this movie worth the time invested. Didn't expect the unexpected ending that was highly amusing. If ur 12 years old. Don't watch it. Spidey an batgurl aren't in it. If you want to see something original. Givitago.

I had a friend a long time ago who when we sat down to watch a movie together, if I attempted to name an actor, would silence me saying, "suspend your disbelief and just enjoy the movie for what it is". It's easy to make comparisons with the familiar. It's a lot harder to judge something unfamiliar on its own merit. I'm not Russian, neither do I speak the language so I was grateful for the steady paced subtitles to guide me through the plot. If you need to measure this movie against others of similar ilk. You are probably going to be disappointed? On the other hand. If like me you are prepared to leave your ego and bias at the door. You might notice what a little gem this movie is. Go Russia. Make some more.

I'm a big fan of the Sci-Fi genre and I was a big fan of Spider-Man comic books many years ago. After 18 minutes of this movie. I switched off. Not a fan of Tobey or Kirsten at the best of times but both characters where annoying. The Green Goblin. I am a Franco fan but this needed to be dropped at the death of the father first time around. The sandman and venom, both far more interesting adversaries/allies but according to some other reviews, underdeveloped.? I chose not to sit through another two hours but if true, looks like I missed very little. So glad I waited for it to be prime rather than waste good money on a movie I could not relate to in anyway. It might well be an age thing as I'm at least 50 years older than the average fan. I don't care either way. Not my circus, not my monkeys.

The movie doesn't make any sense. I'm not ignorant when it comes to tech. On the contrary. I'm a Computer hardware engineer and I completely failed to comprehend what the movie is about. Close ups of circuit boards don't mean much without a coherent plot. What got hacked? I thought the whole point of hacking is that you don't have to enter a building to acquire information? Nope not entertaining. Just annoying in the extreme. Even the reviews don't make sense. Lots of name dropping and Indian references but few well written or comprehensive reviews. Ok you can't always make sense of the nonsensical but this whole thing appears to be a disaster. Watch it if you don't believe me. Read the reviews if you're still unsure? lol wtf!

Angels Fallen (2020)

Mixed ideology plot (demon angels) stilted dialogue, over acting, under acting and no acting. Demon CGI was mostly carnival face paint morphing. Broken story line. Vaguely reminiscent of Underworld. Demon hunters some of which totally unable to recognize demons even when one jumped out and bit them. One famous and good actor (probably where most of the budget went unfortunately) totally wasted opportunity here. I have seen much worse but everybody gave it a good shot. Probably needed a director to make it gel. Nice locations good video but the sound was less than par.

This was so captivating I actually fell asleep during it. It suggests quantum computing is not only already here but will also plot the demise of the human race based on what it learns from bad behavior? Conspiracy theorists gonna love this. Personally I would find it insulting if I was taken in by the premise which I am so definitely not and here's why. 85% of people who use computers don't care how they work. That leaves 15% that do. I consider my self not only to be in that 15% but a bit smarter than your average software developer and a lot smarter than your average AI and I'm telling you. This is not a documentary. It's at best a horror movie based on mostly fiction and not a very good one at that. In case I'm wrong? If humans are as bad as this movie claims? Then fair play to the robots for cleaning up the planet. I'm going back to sleep now.

I watched the movie. Then I started reading the reviews and before long. A pattern seemed to emerge. Generally speaking. The people who appear to be the least entertained by the movie also appear to have the most to say about it. I find that rather odd in itself. There appears to be a purpose to every event and object in the movie. Whether over or understated, connected or disconnected. The entire movie appears to nudge and provoke the psych without giving many conclusions and leaving the audience to interpret the movie in a variety of different ways. In other words. Thought provoking. Since there is a trend these days for action movies that are simply exercises in mindless destruction. I'm not surprised it would leave many people cold. Is it a good or a bad movie? I'm sorry but the only way you are going to answer that question is to watch the movie and decide for your self. To the question; does this review contain spoilers? The answer is yes and no but since I can only select one or the other. You can take my selection either way.

I was trying to do something on my phone so wasn't paying full attention. Probably why I got to the 28 minute mark before I switched off. Reading the reviews was thoroughly entertaining tho. Especially the 10 star reviews. There aren't many. Actually I was surprised there where any 10 star reviews but when I think about it? If there are enough blind, deaf and dumb people to make a movie? Then odds are on there will be a few blind, deaf and dumb people who will appreciate it.

To all you critics pointing out the stupidity of the characters. 1. It's par for the course in almost all horror movies. Run to the danger instead of away. You probably wouldn't have a horror movie without this basic stupidity. 2. Have you ever watched real students on vacay or at a party. Stupidity is par for the course again. If you ignore the stupidity. There is very little left to criticize. As another reviewer put it. This movie is way better than all of the crap put out by Asylum Productions and typical of what Amazon offer for free in Prime Video. With a small budget it ain't ever gonna compete with most block busters so if that's what you are expecting? Don't watch it.

I read the other two reviews here and what I did understand. I don't agree with. I found this movie unintelligent and boring with very little to redeem itself. The only part I really understood was taken right out of Ridley Scott's Alien. A reanimated android head. I expected more.
