Skinamarink (2022)

Profoundly Unsettling

I am a true horror fanatic. I have seen many many MANY horror movies and I can honestly say this is the most terrifying movie I have ever watched.

The intensity of the atmospheric horror and suspense will fill you with such an overwhelming primal dread. You have to watch this at night to get the full effect, and stay off your phone...do not multitask or be distracted. You must fully immerse yourself.

If you remember ever trying to make your way down a dark hallway, or through a dark room as a child and being filled with such utter terror at what could be hiding in the dark... what you thought you could see in the dark, you will then understand the absolutely blood chilling, white knuckled, pure naked fear this movie causes. It really will make you afraid of the dark again.

Men (2022)

Horrible ending

Great movie with a lot of potential and would have been a complete winner if the ending wasn't so utterly baffling leaving the viewer with absolutely no explanation of anything. I HATE allegorical movies, that are purely allegorical for allegory sake with no explanation of anything. It's like the director is screaming "look how complex and deep I can be!" Get over yourself already! And make a movie that actually has a good ending!

Gretel & Hansel (2020)

Unbelievably Corny

Incredibly cheesy and ridiculously corny. I feel embarrassed for Sophia Lillis for having starred in it. The writing is HORRIBLE. The over-acting is painfully awkward. This entire movie is trying TOO hard. What an embarrassment for this production.

Hunter Hunter (2020)

Horrible Ending!!!!

***SPOILERS*** This movie was halfway decent and all started to go downhill after the dog got killed. Okay yeah so I kind of expected the dog to get killed, every family pet does in a horror movie. But then you go and kill the husband AND the daughter???? What the hell is wrong with you guys??!! This movie's ending went off the rails into a morbid abyss.

I am utterly baffled how this movie has such high ratings. I could not even get halfway through the movie. The acting is so utterly awful. This is such a B movie. The title has you thinking that it's a horror movie yet the music and the acting leaves you feeling like it's supposed to be a comedy.

It is extremely disorganized and confusing there are constant cutaways to different scenes and it just leaves you wondering what the heck is going on.

This is a perfect example of the directors ego being so big that they think they can not only direct the movie but act in it too, even when they're acting stinks to high heaven.

The Haunting of Hill House (2018)

I mean really, well done...beginning to end.

When I started this series I was cautiously optimistic because I've been burned in the past where a series started out really good and then ended really crappy. After the first episode I liked it but I didn't love i, I was on the fence. But by the second episode, I was hooked. At the end I think I actually clapped! (corny, I know) but it was that good, in my opinion.

Suspense thriller mainly. It had a lot of potential until the very end when it took an unforgivably grim and morbid turn I really wish there was an alternate ending to this. Not horror... Just horrible

Joker (I) (2019)

Is it dark? Yes!! Is it awkward and painful, Yes!! But because of this, it's all the more genuine and believable of a Joker back story.

I went into this thinking it may be a train wreck because there were wildly different opinions on both sides but I have to say this performance is really really well done, by the end of the movie it is such a believable backstory.

Oh my freaking god!! How in the world does this movie have such high ratings??!! I would always see it in the movie lineup and think maybe I should watch it... now I've watched it and have wasted over an hour of my life that I'll never get back! This is the slowest... and I mean the very SLOWEST... meandering movie you have ever seen in your entire LIFE! with the most anticlimactic ending that will drive you bonkers. What a complete waste of time!

From the reviews you would think this think is movie is going to be awesome. I am now convinced all the extremely high ratings were planted reviews either paid for or left specifically by the owner of this tourist attraction voice, or the actual creators of the movie. Don't waste your time.

Allegories should stay in books... period. This movie makes no effing sense from beginning to end. I'm all for a psychological thrillers but I shouldn't need a special decoder ring, or cliffnotes, or to have to ponder on metaphysical existential BS in order to figure out a movie.

If you really want one whopper of a pounding headache, I encourage you to watch this movie ...if you have any desire whatsoever to be entertained stay as far away from this movie as possible. It will just leave you extremely bewildered and confused at the end... I promise.

My first clue should have been the very shoddy intro with the black and white freeze frame shots. Very very cheesy.
