Fresh, entertaining take on the indie rom com!
19 June 2019
This is a great summer movie! Funny, romantic, and fresh in its approach to a genre that's making a comeback. It's drawn many comparisons to When Harry Met Sally, as friendship is a key part of the romance (which makes the build that much more tension filled!). Maya Erskine and Jack Quaid have great chemistry and Erskine is especially funny.

Great Thriller!

Great thriller and fun to watch! The story was engaging and suspenseful. They built the world of the story nicely, as well as the relationships between characters. The lead actor, Hermione Corfield gives a great performance. It's a fun ride of a movie and will keep you guessing.

Loved It and I'm Not a Horror Person
22 May 2019
This movie is surprisingly emotional for a horror film. I think that's what makes it so intriguing and different than typical films in this genre. The story is very strong and you will get attached to the characters, which makes the tension that much more intense. The performances are great and you will be on the edge of your seat the whole time! Awesome movie!

Fun!

Really enjoyed this! Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron are both great, really funny. It was a nice take on essentially a rom-com and of course relevant to all the terrible things happening these days, but gave a nice bit of hope!

Unenjoyable and Bad
22 May 2019
I wanted to like this, but unfortunately it was terrible. The story was super thin, characters were over the top and there was no real character development, the jokes didn't land for me, all very predictable. Was not even a good bad movie, pretty unenjoyable to watch

Cute!

Pretty cute! Ryan Reynolds is very funny and the story is engaging and fun. Sometimes the main actor is a bit over the top, but overall it's a great summer movie for kids and adults will enjoy it too.

Awesome summer movie! Ignore the haters
16 July 2016
My family thoroughly enjoyed this movie. In fact, "Ghostbusters" has been the number one movie my nephew has wanted to see all summer and it did not disappoint! And this is coming from a family who are big fans of the original.

All of the actors were hilarious! Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones all cracked us up,as did Chris Hemsworth. Feig's reboot was very enjoyable and Dan Aykroyd is even an executive producer for the film.

It's such a shame that a small group of ignorant, sexist trolls who can't handle the idea of smart, funny women taking on the starring roles in this reboot are trying to tear it down with a 4.6 rating. I'm proud that my 10 year old nephew is able to recognize the movie for what it is: a fun-filled summer blockbuster and that women (like his loving Aunties and Grandmother who took him to see it) are smart, funny, complex beings who can take on any role they want. We are all looking forward to the follow up!

With "Ghostbusters" earning $3.5 million on its opening night, it's on pace to make $45- $50 million during its opening weekend. "Always stay gracious, best revenge is your paper".
