Le dernier diamant (2014)
Le dernier navet
What a mess of a movie. I did not believe that she would fall for him, that he is a master planner, a makeup expert, a car thief, etc. Ridiculous. Felt like I was watching an old Mission Impossible tv episode, full of more ridiculous things every minute. Good for a young crowd that haven't seen a heist movie before, maybe. Attal is so bad, boring, blah.
Wasted time.
Amoureux de ma femme (2018)
This is a fun and light comedy with a lot of passion.
If you like Woody Allen movies, you will love this movie. Daniel Auteuil and Gérard Depardieu are two of France's best actors and here they are playing desperate old men trying to grab onto life's delicacy, a beautiful young woman. One has left his wife for her and the other dreams of doing the same thing the minute he meets his best friend's new love.
It has everything a truly great Woody Allen movie has, even down to the neurotic, clumsy Auteuil acting nervously and dreaming of a new life with this young Spanish beauty. It is funny and horrible and magical all at the same time. This was a truly enjoyable 90 minutes which put a smike upon my face.
Sandrine and Adriana are perfectly casted as Daniel's jealous wife and Gérard's sensuous girlfriend. The music which is also reminiscent of Woody Allen movies fits perfectly.
Do not watch this with your wife or husband if things are shakey, it might give you some bad ideas...
This is a fun and light comedy with a lot of passion.
A really great pick to star and direct by Daniel Auteuil.
Music (2021)
Sia's first attempt at directing might not be as great as her music.
If you do not know who Sia his and what marvelous music she has written, then you should start listening to her before watching her movie, because it helps you to get ready for her beautiful sensitivity and marvelous thoughts.
The whole album she put out with music from this movie is absolutely amazing. Everytime I put it on it reminds me that there are still a lot of beautiful souls on this planet. Her directorial debut might not be perfect but nothing from her is. Her voice to me is more perfect than any great singer like Celine Dion. Her lyrics and rhythms are more pop than regular pop could ever be.
Her music videos have been like a home movie where we saw Maddie grow up while dancing and amazing us at every turn. Sia and Maddie can do no harm. They are absolutely spectacular. I hope they will continue their magical journey through videos, music, film, etc.
I cannot say enough how much I love them both.
This movie is not what you expected or you are disapointed by it, well there a million other ones to watch instead.
I thing Sia's a magician, a true phenomenon in music. Such beauty is rare and sometimes can bother certain people.
It brings me lots of joy and makes me dream.
Thank you for this movie, for your albums, for your music videos, for the beauty of it all.
The 355 (2022)
The 355 lbs of women kicking ass!
I think that's about right? Those 4 ladies combined weight us about 355 lbs?
Well see them beat up men 3 times their weight without a bruise! These women are the new force which is awakening...
There really isn't enough of these only women movies being made! I loved the Ghostbuster reboot with women that was also the funniest movie ever, almost died!
Wow. This movie is the equivalence of a fantasy science fiction movie. There are so many things that are wrong or obviously impossible your head might explode.
I had to stop halfway to come and read all of these excellent reviews that hate this as much as I did.
3 great and beautiful actresses trying to be John Wick/Jason Bourne.
What a boring un-original 2 hours wasted.
The Now (2021)
What happened to the Farrelly brothers?
This show is cringely bad.
The acting is bad, the story is depressing.
It's like watching thousands of other boring tv show. There is nothing but boring depressing pathetic non funny things happening.
Whatever happened to the comedic genius of the Farrelly brothers?
There is nothing here.
I had to force myself to watch all of it.
I am living in the past, when they knew what funny was, but now they don't.
