It is a more complex movie compared to the other nominees at the Oscars and can be analyzed and stir up discussions, especially with an ambiguous ending, but should I even expect anything else from A24 movies than mere slow burns with great visuals and head-scratching endings?
Adrien Brody must win the Oscar for this. If it's down to him or Timothée, he has to be the one. This role solidified him as one of the greats.
It wasn't really a story I cared for; I did not like the characters at all and it gave me weird feelings like how I felt when I watched Atonement.
Cinematography is reminiscent of classic movies. Everything can be a still photograph, and Adrien Brody is quite photogenic.
I'm okay with it overall, but it was brutally long.

The title drew me, but I only stuck around for 15 mins. I know it's not fair to write a review based on that, but after seeing the negative reviews here, they seem to align with how I felt in those 15 mins, so I don't find the need to finish the movie. It was trying too hard to be stylish, but the dialogue was so boring. And she's an assassin and she likes kawaii things? That's cool, but it all felt very forced. This movie was also quite musically-driven. It might as well be a music video. Every 3 mins the theme song would play as if something epic was about to happen, but the characters were just staring at each other. Yea, on to the next movie because life is short.
