Admission (2013)

Charming with a lot of heart!
18 July 2013
Funny and emotional. Really worth seeing! Tina Fey proves that she can do it all. Lily Tomlin is absolutely phenomenal. The story starts out as funny, charming then ultimately becomes more emotional. So I laughed at the movie and I cried at the movie. I wish they had spent more time skewring the admissions process, but as the story of a woman who is on the wrong track in life and is afraid to make changes, it is really successful. Wallace Shawn plays the director of Admissions and he does so much with his part. As does Nat Wolff as the possible kid of Tina Fey's character. I think this movie was done with a much smaller budget than it needed so the actors didn't get to improvise as much as we're used to, but I love how game Tina dn Paul Rudd were to do stuff we never get to see them do. This is not a Judd Apatow movie, it is more like an indie. A little gem.
