It's VERY Disney
21 August 2022
I give this a six because if you have ever watched Disney tv shows, you will know how Disney this show is. Disney has always catered to the times, it has nothing to do with being 'woke'. They cater most of their stuff to pre-teens and teens. This show seems great for a teen and maybe some adults will find it amusing. I personally do not because it's just a tad bit too juvenile for me, but the show wasn't bad overall.

3 stars is generous

Warning: Spoilers
They said it would be a more intimate, behind the scenes version of the other series. I fail to see how this is any different. They just have the inability to be real. I thought we would see day by day stuff like Kim waking up and how she gets her kids ready, ya know just real stuff.... But nope it's all drama. Oh Kim says cleaning the playroom makes her H-Y(has to do with pleasure).

Lifetime Movie Chucky
24 October 2021
It's the only way I can describe this version of Chucky. Cringe and corny but watchable.

The characters would have been better off as high schoolers instead of middle schoolers. Too many mature tones for middle schoolers. "Pokemon porn" mentioned at the talent show and adults were laughing in the audience. That whole scene was weird.

No different than all the MTV dating shows.
23 July 2021
Although this is a bit awkward, I'm not going to give this a bad review. I grew up with MTV and watched a lot of off the wall dating shows. "Next", "Room Raiders", "Parental Control". This is really no different than any of those shows. Not really my taste, I've outgrown dating shows like this. I prefer a more mature serious dating show.

What did I just watch?
3 April 2021
I decided to start with the second season's first episode. The episode is almost over and I don't know where the design is. They literally don't show any of the design process. You hear them talk about a few things and you hear more about the designer's life than you do the actual design and makeover. I'm going to watch the second episode and if it doesn't get any better I'm not going to continue watching.

Minimalism dramatized
30 March 2021
You know, I really just wanted to watch a documentary about people that don't like to have lots of things, that's it. I consider myself a minimalist because I don't like to have a lot of things, I don't really put any more deeper thought into it. It would be nice to see minimalism from different points of view and not always from the ppl that believe there is some deep meaning behind it.

It's your basic dance/comedy/romance movie, don't expect too much.
8 August 2020
If you're bored on a Sat night and want to watch a cute little movie, put this on. Don't expect too much, the plot isn't great even almost predictable but I won't bash this movie I expect that out of a movie like this. It wasn't too bad, just not great.

Snoozer

Acting was good but script was bad. This movie was not interesting at all. Would have been nice to see how they fell in love so at least we could have some type of emotion towards the characters. This movie isn't about a marriage, it is about a bad divorce.

It's a drama
23 November 2018
The premise of this show got me interested but half way through the show, I started to see it for what it really is.....a drama. Lots of drama, bad dialog, bad acting. Scenes look cool though.

It was ok

Once she cut off her hair it started to become your typical Lifetime, Tyler Perry type of movie. It was very predictable. This could have been so good but it just fell flat after she cut her hair off.

Story got lost.
15 September 2018
The acting was good but the story got lost. Rushed story telling with a lack of emotion. This is a throw away movie, the story didn't make me feel anything for any of the characters. 4 out of 10.

Beautiful scenery.
26 March 2018
This type of adventure was new to me and I really enjoyed it. The scenery was beautiful and the overall experience seemed nice. There were some things that were quite disappointing. I was waiting for them to get to Oregon and they didn't even stop at any of the places, that was mostly the downfall of this adventure. I just take it that maybe they enjoy the nature aspect of their trip more than the city adventures. Overall it was a nice ride through the places they did make it to.

Get rid of the host.
16 March 2018
I love watching cooking shows, and this show has a good concept. Unfortunately, as soon as the host started talking, I knew this would be a disaster. Her yelling is overwhelming and she doesn't critique the bakers well. Also it would be nice to add a guest judge. Just don't need to focus on the host, she takes away from the show. I had to cut it off after one episode.

Doesn't go anywhere.
14 October 2017
This show started out with a good opening, it had me excited for more, especially with a female lead in this genre. Well the excitement dwindled fast. Yes, with some shows it takes at least a few episodes to really grasp if it is good or not, but with this one I could not make it that far. The show just would not take off. The plot seems very predictable and lacks a bit of creativity.

Girlboss (2017)
3/10
Good premise, bad delivery.
22 April 2017
Warning: Spoilers
The synopsis for this show led me to believe I was going to watch a riveting show about the ups and downs a woman goes through as she builds her own fashion business. Welp, I was completely wrong. Sophia, the main character is a crude, careless person who engages in very self indulgent behavior.

After Sophia gets fired from her job(trust me she deserved it), she decides to spend what little money she has on a vintage jacket at a thrift store. Somehow the vintage jacket makes her feel so good, she ends up dumpster diving for food, stealing a rug, and sleeping in a park, only to get kicked out by security. BUT WAIT, why sleep in a park when you have this amazing apartment? Yes, Sophia goes home to her amazing apartment. At her apartment, Sophia takes a picture of herself in her new vintage jacket so she can sell it on Ebay. Sophia starts off the bid a $0.00, which quickly climbs up to $600. This sparks an idea in Sophia to buy and resale vintage clothing. In order to help get her 'business' off the ground, Sophia goes to a book store and steals a book about selling on Ebay. Sophia gets caught by loss prevention, and I will admit I was a bit happy because finally she will have to see consequences to her continuous crude behavior, but nope she ends up getting away thanks to flashing the loss prevention guy a boil growing next to her vagina.

Sounds like a comedy right? Well I'm not sure if its a comedy(because I did not laugh) or what the point of this show is. I am on episode 4 and so far all I see is a crude girl who has no control over her attitude or her life and is far from a "girlboss".

Love vs Lust.
12 November 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I'm giving this movie a 6 because although I found it good and I appreciated the concept, the movie lacked in a few areas.

I wish this movie would have touched more on Margot and Lou's marriage. Yes I understand they hit a tough spot in their relationship, but that wasn't really elaborated on. The only interaction we saw between Margot and Lou was how they playfully annoyed each other, but we never really got to see who they were as a couple.

I enjoyed the scenes between Margot and Daniel, it really captured the lust between the two. Although it didn't really show them falling in love, it did show how instant attractions happen. I also enjoyed the scenes of once she got with Daniel, they had multiple threesomes. To me this was showing the 'excitement' that came with getting with Daniel and the lust that was surrounding that relationship. Once the lust faded, she was right back in the same spot as she once was with her ex husband Lou right before she left him.

The film was good, I get the concept, to me this film can be interpreted in a few different ways. I interpreted as, although you may feel like you are in a 'tough' spot in your relationship that doesn't mean you should be so quick to dismiss your partner and succumb to temptation.

New Girl (2011–2018)
5/10
Funny but a bit too silly at times.
1 November 2016
I just started binge watching the New Girl on Netflix. The first season is hilarious, my boyfriend and I got so many good laughs out of it. I really looked forward to continuing watching the seasons, but now that I am going into season 3, my thoughts are changing a bit. Although the show is still quite funny, the plot and storyline is getting a bit ridiculous. I love the main character Jess but sometimes I seem to find her personality mixed with her three roommates personalities a bit overwhelming. I get that she is suppose to be corky and a bit eccentric but as the show goes on, her roommates seem to have very similar personalities. There isn't anything quite 'different' about her roommates. None of them have their own signature personality. Something you would think only Schmidt would do, Winston will or Nick will also. Some of the shenanigans and things they get themselves into seem a bit juvenile or unrealistic. Its very odd that all of these people are in their 30s and live these very kooky lives. I give this show a 5 out of 10 because yes it is funny but the show just seems a bit all over the place already going into season 3.

Unlikable characters.
20 February 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Mickey and Gus, the two main characters seem to be falling for each other, but its hard to notice that because they both act like teenagers who have a hard time communicating like adults. Mickey is a 30 something year old woman who seems like she would have her life together if she just changed her immature careless attitude. Gus is OK, but its hard to warm up to him because of his lack of a backbone. They are like two teenagers trying to be adults, except they actually are adults. This is suppose to be a comedy but it lacks a lot of jokes, or maybe they are there but they just aren't funny. Its just like all those other shows and movies where the characters use a curse word in every sentence because its just so cool to be vulgar and not care about anything(sarcasm). The first episode was OK but it just kind of went downhill from there.
