Loki: Glorious Purpose (2023)
Glorious purpose indeed
Trying to write a review without spoiling this series is difficult, quite simply put this show was an amazing piece of character development that took a fan favourite bad boy and gave him the growth he deserved and a journey that let him find his purpose.
Time travel, the consequences of your actions and personal reflection were threads woven together expertly and in my opinion this series has given the MCU a much needed boost to get it back on track. Yes, we love the visuals and new characters but let's see their development as well.
This episode gives all of the characters an appropriately fitting ending while still leaving opportunity for new stories and future involvement in the wider MCU while at the same time giving the man himself a fitting end to his journey as well.
See it, enjoy it, rewatch it... you deserve this!
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
Once upon a time...
Got to see this at the UK premier last night and have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. The narrative reminded me of a fairy tale and the way stories are passed from generation to generation, while Ragnarok is still my favourite Thor movie cudos to Marvel Studios for giving Taika Waititi the chance to make a super hero movie for kids of all ages.
Oh and make sure to stay for the mid and end credit scenes both are awesome.
The Good Place: Live Panel Discussion (2020)
A perfect end to a wonderful show
Over the last 4 seasons this show has never failed to impress, it has been funny, quirky and wonderfully heartfelt and this showed us how a series finale should be done. Saying goodbye to these characters was a very emotional experience but wow was it done well. Cudos to everyone involved
