Vikram Vedha (2017)
watch it for the love of cinema
I saw this interview of Pushkar and Gayathri, the director/writers of this movie with critic Bharadwaj Ranjan and they sounded so intellectual (their conversations in the interview is similar to the ones between the vikram and his wife in the movie, always reasoning things) and smart and it did reflect in the script which it took around 2 yrs for them to write. U cannot predict any scene, some critics consider it as one of the best scripts in Tamil cinema. Loved the stories told by vedha to vikram and the kind of enlightenment he gets from it ! just like the original vikram-veda tales !
I recommend it to every movie lover ! Enjoy the unpredictable ride n the soundtrack for vijay sethupati (da da da da da da da, da da da da da da da!)

Maanagaram (2017)
Excellent Enjoyable Hyperlink Cinema
There are very few great movies releasing nowadays for which I feel compelled to rate and write reviews here. And this is one of them.
This movie scores 10/10 in almost any every criteria you want to judge it in and like any Christopher Nolan movie, you find a new piece of info in every re-watch, which will make you smile and also awe in wonder !
Love the suspenseful 1st half and racy 2nd half and Epic climax giving goosebumps !
Its also a movie that can make you fall in love with chennai city (Maanagaram) and feel proud to live here!
Joker (2016)
Joker = Depiction of Reality
After I saw the marathi movie "Court", I kept wondering whether a tamil movie can bring out the same magic, i.e. the "court" showed the reality of our judiciary system and this movie showed the reality in politics, common man's mind set and his carelessness towards all the injustice around us. This movie might bore some people, especially the restless impatient youth of today. But you can't help it guys, this movie depicts whats real and slaps you on your face for your inability and unconcerned nature towards everything we see around us !
Keep it up Tamil cinema !
Court (2014)
Court is not a movie. Its life, sometimes boring, sometimes exciting !
Somebody rightly said that this movie subtly laughs at the face of the Indian judicial system. We often seem to judge people by their profession. Respect, envy, love or fear them. But this movie peaks into their lives, of a common man, a judge, lawyers and tries to find a reason for what they do and why they are doing it. You can't judge a person by their actions, you have to look back in their life, experiences, their core values, which will defines the decisions they make. This is evident as this movie even continues after the verdict is pronounced and we try to find the core values of the judge. For the love of movies, just watch this 1 !!!!! Its epic !
