Contracted (2013)
Short and watchable
No spoilers here, best part about this film is that it's short and to the point. Has a lot of nonsensical moments but the overall plot is intriguing. What didn't make much sense was how nobody around the central character did anything to point out how bad her situation was until it was too late.
Power Book IV: Force (2022)
Powered out
Die hard fan of the original Power, watched both seasons of Power Book 2 Ghost and watched first 3 episodes of Force but like the predecessor it's just not new or entertaining when one character moves on and everyone else is gone. The main reason Tommy was so good was he had Ghost by his side but now it's like okay predictable series ahead.. I'll keep watching but just as a loyal power original fan, no longer a die hard.
Power Book II: Ghost (2020)
Death of a great show
The excitement I got waiting to midnight on a Saturday to watch Power was no longer there once book 2 began.. sure everything must come to an end but why a spin-off with Tariq? This show was very tough to watch, maybe if power never existed this could rate a 6/10 but to be a spin off this was a tough watch. Like other reviews, I question how this was green lit ... almost reminds me of episode 12 of season 6 when they did a whole show on Paz (most useless character on power). Tariq isn't a good actor, he's too young and doesn't have that appeal to lure viewers, I hope the other spin offs are better.
Secret Obsession (2019)
Worth a watch
Not the worst film in this genre but definitely one which is predictable and poorly acted
The Fix (2019)
Typical dragging on drama
I like the show overall but I thought it would be better.. I think there is no need for a British actor playing the lead when he lives in LA and is a big star? Story hasn't moved much since episode 3 and now it's season finale. Show had so much potential.
Power (2014)
Favorite show on TV period!
Every character is well thought out and I wish season 6 wasn't it's last.. Netflix should pick it up!

Tamasha (2015)
a must watch at home
Not a big fan of the overrated director but gave it a chance due to the great chemistry between the the 2 big stars (RK & DP). Overall the movie is okay, still thought Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani was so much better. At the Interval I was sad to learn that we were only halfway through... RK is good as usual, DP looks great and proves she can act but the story is nothing new. The songs are okay too and I think I.A. has really been given too many props as one of the finest filmmakers when this film proves he is mediocre. The best part of the film was that it was shot in a nice locale in France, other than that it was just an ordinary film.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015)
Not your typical Sooraj Barjatya Salman Khan film
I went to watch this film on Diwali as it is a tradition to do so in my family. I must have watched the songs and seen the trailer 10-15 times as well as all the promotional videos by the actors before walking into the theater. Having said all that, I did not have a very high expectation of this film as I did for Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Hum Saath Saath Hain (which both lived up to them). The film is watchable for sure and having it release on Diwali really helps as you are in family mode and craving a nice family film which it is. The songs are nice, cinematography is wonderful, acting is overdone, sets are elaborate, and the storyline is missing. Sooraj Barjatya still pulls it off because he has Salman Khan.. any other actor could not pull 3 hours of poor acting off like Salman. Overall I liked it and I have seen every SB film with Salman and think this is one that you get your monies worth if you go when it is half price.
