Massive collection of cliches
20 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Having watched the first movie my expectations were quite high. I expected to find a movie with a lot of action, but also develop a bit the main character by adding new interesting details about him or venom. I found the first thirty minutes to be boring where little to nothing happened. Once the plot finally developed the massive collection of cliches finally dropped. They were regurgitated like in any low production movie. The classic most obvious cliche was the "villan kidnaps main's character love". There was only one notable action scene which was the one where the main character and the villan fought in order to save his love and that was it. Other fighting scenes didn't really include venom but were somewhat enjoyable because of the visual effects.

A bunch of cliche
12 June 2018
Warning: Spoilers
When I sat down in the cinema I told myself: I bet there's going to be a scene where a character is being chased down by a dinosaur near a cliff but at the last moment a helicopter will save him just in time to be destroyed by something else afterwards. I was right, it literally happened in the first scene! The rest of the movie was just poor and horrendous filled with plot conveniences such as: getting saved at the last moment before drowning, hackers can unlock everything by just smashing the keyboard, bad guy killed in the dullest way but satisfying to watch etc... The plot was just weak. One thing that I like to address is that at the beginning there's the scene where the government refuses to save the dinosaurs which is reasonable because the dinosaurs are literally in another country so the US has no business to do with it. This is perceived by the protagonist and her friends like it was a bad decision made by some kind of evil administration. (Like the media depicts today any decision made by the current US administration). So the protagonist and her friends go on a crusade against the people who decided to not save the dinosaurs and join this rich guy who promises to save the dinosaurs. They kinda deserved all the bad things that happened to them during the film like this is what you get if you don't listen to people that have probably more wisdom and experience than you. This is basically teaching to all the kids that watched the movie that it is ok to go against the law and the people who made it and implying that everything that the government does it's bad. Honestly, the protagonist would have deserved to perish in the ashes of the volcano.

Lack of original jokes, no one laughed for the entire run time.
2 September 2017
Jokes are repeated and overused and some "jokes" made laugh just a couple of people out of the entire auditorium. Unless you are pretty old like the grandpa there are 0 funny jokes. Fortunately there a story to follow and that makes up at least for the lack of original jokes in the movie.

Too Much Rain
29 August 2017
Warning: Spoilers
There's too much rain in the movie that it's almost super annoying. In every scene, there's a storm after that sun after that another storm and that's it for the whole film. Fortunately, the rest of the movie is OK. At least they tried to follow the original story. I personally don't like the fact that the protagonist straight up confessed that he was KIRA to a girl he just met.
