I Care a Lot (2020)

If a movie is plausible in someone's mind it makes a movie good. Then when they work out how that plausibility can be accomplished that makes it even better....

The premise of this movie is very interesting. You have heard of medical kidnapping where the state takes away kids from parents because they disagree with a parents treatment choices for their child, true look it up. You have also heard of people being committed against their will I am sure. Taking these two possibilities into count and makes the framework of the movie VERY interesting. Now mix in some good old corruption, which is seemingly running rampant these days, and you have this movie.

The only thing I do not like is the woke agenda. It seems every single movie is gay now. Look, I have gay friends and had them before so it isn't that. All people will need to answer for their own actions and choices. I have no room to point to the finger at anyone, trust me. I get tired of the woke agenda being shoved down my throat in every single movie, television show, children's schools and everywhere you go. If you disagree you can lose your job, career and everything you have worked for and honestly, I am getting tired of it! About 5% of the population is gay in the US. About 95% of the movies is gay now which is insane. Try to do better and make things more realistic and then you won't have all this fighting going on plus you will you will also make more money that way too. Just saying.

Movie I liked the plot, acting is very good and a surprise plot twist for me. It did drag a little for me but I would have given the overall movie an 8.5 but another woke agenda being force fed to me I change that rating to a 7.

Do better Hollywood!! Make realistic movies not agendas with every single movie and TV show.

We Have a Ghost (2023)

Very Good Movie

Family friendly movie with a good plot. The actors did a great job and I found this very enjoyable overall.

The plot consists of a family buying a fixer upper house and getting it at a very good price. Not only did the family get an amazing home but they got a little more than they asked for.

I give this movie a solid 7 and I am going to recommend it to my friends and family.

Some parts might be a little scary for very young children but I guess that is why it is rated PG-13. As far as I can recall there is no language or nudity or anything so kids should enjoy this too.

Don't miss this one on Netflix. I don't know why it isn't in the top 10 yet but it will be soon!

Expedition Bigfoot (2019– )

Cryptozoology at its finest

The way the go about searching for Bigfoot using a scientific method. They research the past 50 years worth of siteings and find the best areas and times of the year to locate a bigfoot.

The cast involves a Bigfoot hunter, a doctor in primatology and a military survival expert are the ones in the field. They all work with one person who overseas the operations. He talks to the locals, finds technology to help them and coordinates everything for them.

I personally believe that this is a real creature and one day evidence will be found proving this to be true.

A very interesting show indeed and hopefully will find evidence to find this amazing animal one day.

Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area (2022)

What Could Have Been

I was waiting for this to come out and I was excited to see it. I was very disappointed when I found out that it was basically a repeat of Money Heist with Koreans playing the parts.

How hard would it be to make an original Money Heist Korea.

Oh well, another Netflix fail, par for the course. They are wondering why people are leaving the platform.

Downfall: The Case Against Boeing (2022)

Safety

There is a big problem these days where greed takes over and people's lives and safety are second. You see it all over these days. The medical field comes to mind too where they know they will kill people but as long as they can make enough money then it is okay. Or if there is a cheaper solution from a generic but that is ohased out because they can't make enough money from it instead of letting the public use an older, safer device or medication. Profits are fine but people's lives should take pricedent. Roll out the true numbers to the public and let them decide on if something is safe. The government should be there to protect us. Many, many people from Boeing should be in prison for the rest of their lives!

Kuroko's Basketball (2012–2015)

Wow! Just Wow!

I am going to make this easy...... This is one of the best sports animes ever created, period! It is also one of the best animes I have ever watched. Even if you are not a sports fan you will enjoy this show.

Watch or watch not, there is no try. ;-)

Money Heist (2017–2021)

This IS the series to watch!

Looking trough Netflix not knowing what to watch? WAIT NO MORE! The best series on Netflix is Money Heist! A gang to top notch band of thieves, that see each other as family, is set to pull of some of the most incredible heists in history. All lead by a very, very smart leader known as The Professor.

Great Drama, Action, Suspense with a great cast of characters! You will NOT be able to stop watching this one! Grab the popcorn, out down the phone and buckle your seatbelt Dorthy, because Kansas, is going bye bye!!

Now it is in its 5th season (two parts, one released in Sept and the 2nd part in Dec 2021.

Beyblade Burst (2016–2023)

Great Storyline and Fun

Fun storyline about the game of Beyblade! This sports based action drama tells a story of a kid learning the game of Beyblade. He makes amazing and great friends along the way while doing everything he can to be best his best in this international game.

It does look like it would be fun to play but now, 2021, seems to be mostly based in Japan which is too bad for the US. I would love to see this on TV!

Bartkowiak (2021)

Solid Fight Drama

Overall a good movie as I was very entertained. The storyline was solid. There are good fight scenes throughout the movie. The actors did a great job.

Well worth watching if you like fight type movies.

Cosmic Sin (2021)

First, I am giving a general rating system below for the idiots who think this is a one. This isn't the best movie ever but if you like SyFy it is a good movie. It is entertaining.

I almost didn't watch due to this being rated a 2.5 overall. I mean that rating would make this a steaming piece of garbage, which it is not! I was curious how possibly bad this could be so I watched the first 10 minutes then watched the whole movie. Yes, the special effects aren't that of a 100 million dollar movie but they aren't too bad.

Overall this is a good SyFy movie, definitely watchable if this is your genre. Aliens, military, action and a good enough plot with dialog. Better than the movies the SyFy channel puts out themselves. Honestly I would have rated a 6 to 6.5 but since everyone rated so low I rated it a 7. Don't rush to watch it but if you like SyFy and Bruce Willis then a good way to kill some time.

I wish you could only rate if there was proof you watched the whole movie or series.

I want to make this clear. Here is how ratings should work! Since we can't give a zero an average movie is 5.5. So a 5 is a little below average and a 6 is a little above average. I just jotted these all down so I am sure they could be tweaked.

1 Is totally unwatchable. Complete waste of time and money! I want my eyes and time back! These are movies Elvira said no to! Burn all of these as they have zero cinematic quality to anyone!

2 - This movie was rejected from the B movie festival. I would not watch again, I would never recommend and I am upset I saw it! The only reason it might do well is people watch these because they are so bad it is funny.

3 - This is a B movie and not a good one at that! I was at someone's house and I could not escape. Good date movie so they might like to do something else. ^ ^ Would not recommend and I am upset I watched.

4 - Ugh, This wasn't very good. I watched too much so I felt obliged to watch the rest. I am not super happy I put it on! I guess B movies fit in here.

5 - Slighty below average. Watchable and okay but would not watch again.

6 - Slightly above average. Watchable and a enjoyed a few parts.

7 - Good movie. Happy I watched it. Some good parts in it.

8 - Amazing movie. I greatly enjoyed this movie! Very happy I watched it!

9 - Wow. Not a blockbuster but really enjoyed this! I would tell anyone to watch this awesome movie. I will watch again! Great job!

10 - One of the best movies! I would love to see this movie again! I would like to own this. Great piece of cinematic art!

Harlock: Space Pirate (2013)

I Wasn't Going To Do A Review But.......

People are crazy. They don't watch the movie or watch 1 minute of it then give a review.

This was a good story and the animation was amazing! I don't read the books or manga so I only base my reviews off the movie. I enjoyed the whole film, definitely worth a watch!. Good action and dialog. The ending dropped it from a 10 to a 9 but a 9 is still a very strong review!

If you like SyFy and fantasy, which I do, then don't miss this masterpiece of a movie! Enjoy the show.

Record of Ragnarok (2021– )

Rated Highly by Episode!

I am writing this review early to help people, while the overall review is rated a 6.2 I have to question if people really watched the whole thing. The beginning episode rises from a 7.0 ranking then by the 4th it is rated in the 8s stays in there mid 8s and is in the high 8s by last episodes! It looks pretty cool. I will update this review when I finish watching.

Update: I don't know what people want these days out of an anime! This was AWESOME and left me wanting more! Gods vs Humans in a Mortal Combat type anime but with cooler fight sequences better fighters. Incredible! Don't miss this one!

Yasuke (2021)

Enjoy The Show!

Look, this is not an anime historical documentary. Don't try to over analyze the show. Just sit back and enjoy.

Okay, it does start a little slow but it gets better each episode. There are great fight sequences throughout the show. Honestly, I wish it was longer. I had low expectations due to the reviews, BUT, yet again, the show was much better than the haters say.

The story I give a 6 but the amazing action sequences brought the whole show up to an 8! Please, just sit back and enjoy this cool anime.

Infinite (2021)

I feel a little strange about this movie so i am going to break the rankings down in pieces. Action was great right from the beginning so that part I give a 10! The actor selection was great too that I give a 9. The SyFy part of the movie was really cool especially mixed with the action so that I give a 9. What hurt this movie was the story I guess. It left me hollow and unfulfilled but I don't know why. I seemed to enjoy it but it didn't leave me wanting more so that part I give a 4. My overall review is a 7. I really wanted to make it higher but I can't which saddens me.

It is still worth a watch for sure if Action and SyFy is you thing! Starts out GREAT! Enjoy!

Who Killed Sara? (2021–2022)

Good Series Worth Watching

The series is good. Good storyline and plot. It keeps you wanting more each episode. A great, modern day whodunit. Definitely worth watching BUT there is two complaints that made me drop the show from and 8 to a 7 I have about the movie. 1) I get so tired of every single show I watch a main character is gay. I know only 5% of the population is gay but certain ideology is constantly shoved down our throats by movies and TV. Stop trying to make me think a certain way! If you want to show real life fine, but stop trying to force feed me by making a main character gay in every single show and movie! 2) The other thing is the guy goes to prison and comes out 18 years later being an ultra elite hacker. Now unless he received his doctorate in cyber security while in prison, which I guess is possible, I don't see how this could really be feasible. If he did get the skills in prison a little 2 minute flashback of how it happened would have been awesome and make the movie more believable.

There is also a lot of sex and sexual situations in the movie. If this bothers you or you are thinking about letting a young person watch this, pick another show. Otherwise Enjoy!

Hero Mask (2018–2019)

Amazing Graphics

I am 52 and I was tired of the same old garbage on TV. My nephew liked anime so I thought I would give it a try a year or so ago and, wow, was I amazed! I watch anime now most of the time, lol. Hundreds if not 1,000+ hours in the last year. Back to my review.....

The graphics in this are extremely well done! Probably some of the best I have seen to be honest. The eyes are bigger when a character wears glasses, reflections off car windows, the record player how the record spins around, all just spectacular! Graphics wise I would give this an 11. The action in this, fight scenes, I give and 8 to 8.5. The story line is okay but not great so I give it about a 7. Overall I gave it a 9 just how impressed I was about the graphics. It is a good show. I believe it is rated a bit low here.

People are being very brutal with their reviews. People give something a 1, which means completely unwatchable piece of garbage, which is not the case. Is it as good as the original or even the Hades follow up, no, but is it horrific, absolutely not. The modern element mixed in with the old is interesting. The updated graphics are neat and fun. Would I rather see another of the animated series instead? Yes but this was fun to watch too. Don't listen to all the haters.

Shadow and Bone (2021–2023)

Netflix FINALLY An Amazing Series Worth Watching!

Finally a great series from Netflix! I guess if you throw up enough garbage against the wall something will finally stick.

An amazing series that has mages which is set back in the days of revolvers and bolt action rifles. A country was divided in half because the king wanted to kill everyone, or most peoplee, from this certain area because they all had developed magic while the rest of the world were normal people. I won't say anymore as to not to spoil it for you.

If you like SyFy, Magic, Love and friendship, with a good enough story line, this show is for you! Don't miss this incredible series!!

Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac (1986–1989)

Old Series But WOW

I will admit I didn't want to watch it because the series was so old. I saw the high reviews, so I put it on my list, but kept putting off watching it. Well I finally started watching it a few days ago. WOW! What an amazing series! I am sorry I put it off for so long. Definitely one of the all time greats! Don't miss this incredible series. Well worth the watch!

I look forward to watching the two newer series too!

The Yinyang Master (2021)

Sequel Better Than Original

Usually the sequel is not as good as the original but in this case that is not true!

Awesome special effects set this movie apart. They really did a top notch job with the special effects through the whole movie. Cool little creatures fight. If you like movies like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon fight scenes then you will love this one. It really left me wanting to see a third one in the series!

Make sure you watch the first movie but if you don't have time skip it and watch this one! If you like this type of genre you will not be disappointed.

I don't know why people voted this so low. Don't listen to them. Grab your popcorn and enjoy the show!

Mortal (2020)

Very Good Film

I am a big SyFy fan so anytime I see a SyFy rating on IMDB I always add 1+ to the current rating so I can get an accurate rating for me. This method didn't fail me this time either.

Immersive SyFy storyline that leads you on throughout the whole movie right at the perfect speed making you want to see what happens next. Enough special effects mixed in with a good cast and story line that makes this very enjoyable but not overdone in any part of the story.

Very cool and I am happy I watched it.

The Last Blockbuster (2020)

Many of you won't remember but Blockbuster is engrained in too many of our memories. We had a love hate relationship with Blockbuster as we loved getting movies, strolling down the aisles and the whole vibe of the business. The hate part came from late fees and being charged late fees when we returned the movies on time!

It is a great piece of modern Americana history. It was sad to see them go.

Live long last Blockbuster! I would rent from you if you were still here!!!!

Tribes of Europa (2021)

Better Than Expected

Some if the reviews here are way too low. I guess people don't really know what a movie that is a 1 or a 2 actually is and watch a half of an episode then write a review.

It is an excellent post apocalyptic series with a good storyline. The only real knock I would give it is that many times the background music is to loud for me to hear what the actors are saying. That made me knock it down from an 8 to a 7 to be honest. Otherwise a good SyFy show for sure. If this is your genre then don't miss this well made series.
