The Wrong Missy (2020)
Not a hit not a miss
First of all I want to start with saying, when you hire the great Bobby Lee, the Slept King himself, you need to give him a better role than a front desk receptionist. However, he is on to better things so I digress.
This movie was funny. It wasn't the best comedy you will ever watch but it is worth a watch and it is better than Sandlers blunders in the past. Definitely some laugh out loud moments but nothing really new. Just simply, not bad. If you are looking for a feel good movie that is easy to watch and you like David Spade then this is good. Lapkus does a great job here as well.
Swallow (2019)
Mixed
I feel very torn between liking this movie a lot and feeling indifferent about it. I think some people will find that it ended perfectly and others will find the ending the absolute worst and in some ways evil. Its visually beautiful and I was interested the whole time. The main actress did a wonderful job. I think it is worth watching but the message might be a bit hard to swallow....HA.
The Dead Don't Die (2019)
Waste of talent
Really a shame that with the cast they had this is the movie that came out of it. Nothing really gave a huge laugh. Nothing really gave a huge scare. Nothing really gave a huge surprise. It was just a bland film. Even when it tried to be a bit odd it just seemed boring in the way it was executed. I didn't hate it though. I just wont be watching it again.
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019)
Missed opportunity
While this movie is watchable, the acting is good, the story progresses, if you know anything about Bundy and his crimes and life you will be scratching your head wondering why they didn't truly show the evil of this man. Very misleading title in the least eh?
There is already a great 2002 movie about Ted Bundy so if they wanted one from his girlfriends perspective they could of really showed just how he was able to be the chameleon he was so famous for being. The many faces of Ted Bundy. They only slightly touched on that. While going through their relationship they could've shown what he was really up to and just exactly how easy it was for him to do and just how damn clueless she was to him doing it.
All in all, watch it if you just want Bundy content because it isn't terrible but you won't learn anything new. Zach Efron is a good actor though. I enjoy him. What a waste!
The Twilight Zone (2019)
Enjoy it
I am a huge fan of the original Twilight Zone show. After reading the first reviews on here I was nervous this show was not going to live up to it's predisecor but I am very happy so far. Currently on episode 5 I am really loving the stories more and more and I think this show will only get better. Like the original they wont all be masterpieces but they sure are fun. So sit back and enjoy and don't take everything so seriously.
Amityville: Mt. Misery Rd. (2018)
What
I actually recommend watching this IF you want to just see a movie and yell "WHY?" at a movie a million times. This movie was ridiculous and so bad but not bad enough to be good bad. I felt like that girl somehow got a rich boyfriend to make a movie with her in it and that is it. She just wanted to dance and act and be half naked. That's the movie. I can not blame her though. I would do the same thing. Pointless movie. I guess you could watch it for a laugh though.
