Undone (2019)
Went nowhere
Not a fan of open endings. Had hope for this. If they make another season please have it go somewhere. Not SciFi, not mystery. I want a story. Rosa was great, the story had potential but failed at the end
MythBusters: The Search: Fast & Furious Ejector Seat (2017)
Future not looking good for the replacement
An entertaining game show but I was so disappointed in the set up for myth busting Deflate Gate. The original series sometimes had variables not accounted for but none this bad. They had game contestants catch balls thrown by a jugs machine. Lack of coordination made the data a game of lucky catch.
More importantly: The Myth was about ball pressure making a difference in cold wet conditions. So these brilliant writers use dry balls on a sunny day. Should have fed cold wet balls on a cold day into the machine. If budget restraints, at least use cold wet balls. No data provided for change in passing or receiving variables due to air pressure. Without better writing, the future is not looking good for the actual future replacement team.
Sadly, I saw where a young kid did a better myth bust on this than the professionals.
Hardcore Henry (2015)
Proof that there is an audience for video game fans
The preview commercials looked interesting and I looked forward to seeing this. I was never so bored watching a movie.
I would have ranked it lower but they obviously had a market they were seeking. By the many high review ratings, they seemed to have found the market. Maybe only those that liked it wanted to review it. Maybe many who wouldn't like it never bothered to watch it.
The camera movement didn't make me sick but the movie seemed random in plot typical of a poor slasher movie. The difference being you might care about a character in a poor slasher movie.
If you are one to spend hours on end playing FPS games, you might enjoy this. No wonder it had a short stay at the theaters.
By the ratings here, those likely to have bothered seeing it (few in number by the short viewing) really liked it. Based on low box office numbers it was a small target audience movie, not for most people.
Climate Hustle (2017)
I hope to see this even though it's hardly showing anywhere
This is the first time I have ever seen IMDb attack the source of a movie. Certainly it's not common other than being common practice to attack those who disagree with the man made climate change scare.
The whole climate change movement was once called global warming until that title was losing ground. (Hard to argue that climate changes, it changes every day, throughout year and throughout the centuries.) Why does the man made climate change panic need to be politically protected? Real science accepts challenge and offers the ability to recreate data. There have been deleted email, limits to the years viewed, black balling legitimate scientists that disagree and more.
From a personal view, I can't be the only one who remembers the global cooling, pending ice age scare from a few decades back.
Follow the money, lots of people getting rich and powerful by pushing this.
Hoping to see this. Locally appearing one day with one showing.
