I had high expectations of this documentary since it was created by the FIFA team who own all kinds of footage that no one else has access to but this one is edited so badly it was painful to watch at times.
First, for a football documentary focusing on World Cup, it had very little actual football footage. Most of the documentary consists of pre-match or post-match celebrations with very little actual in game footage.
Second, even those in-game footages didn't show much of the game. A player passes the ball to another, he shoots and scores but all you see is their faces because it's zoomed into their faces the whole time. You hardly see any of the action on the field.
Third, it spent so little time on some of the major teams in the tournament such as Croatia and Sweden. Croatia made it to the final and was the second best team in the tournament but it doesn't even get mentioned at all until 20 minutes before the documentary ends. Instead they talk so much about Ronaldo and Messi who didn't even make it to quarter final.

After finishing the movie I thought I misunderstood the plot because there is no way they can push something as moronic as this movie's plot so I went to three different websites and read explanation of the plot but found out that unfortunately the story is actually that moronic. It wasn't that I misunderstood the plot, it was that I gave it too much credit.
The movie's plot makes zero sense and it's a huge insult to viewer's intelligence. You know how they say "ignorance is a bliss" this movie makes you wish you were stupid so that you could ignore all the plot holes, logical errors, stupidities in the story and enjoy it but if you have an ounce of common sense and a working brain cell in your skull, you'll hate this thing that insults your intelligence from the first moment to the last.

This is a nice collection of home videos collected across the world but the editing is poorly done and makes it feel like these videos were randomly put together. This movie would have made more sense if those videos actually told a story in a way but it they didn't.
I felt like I went to YouTube Shorts and watched a bunch of random short videos at the end of this movie.
What was the main story of this movie? What was its take home message? What were we expected to take from it? What did editors of this movie accomplished that couldn't be accomplished by watching a bunch of random short videos on Youtube?
I felt like this movie left a lot to be desired due to poor editing.
