too much story

It just didn't stop. The funny one-liners, the predicted story, the monster desktop backgrounds, the predictable twists, a shiny rock, A and B need to connect to save to earth, ... There was too much story just going forward and nobody made a choice.

It felt like the power rangers making a team.

Humans are running around but only the 10year old is relevant, as a plot device.

I want to be scared of big monsters, but this is Lincoln Kong.

Great visual but this is no longer a big ape story or an annoyed lizard.

This is teen titan drama. I miss the real cause and influence and serious results.

It is a movie about a rich lady that offers her inheritance to the nephew who also needs to take care of her beloved dog. The dog gets lost and has to adapt to the real street life in search for home. He is aided by a female dog and a poor young girl.

The kid liked it, but she can't remember any wow moments or funny thing.

I disliked every character encountered. The plot of the movie is normal for a kids movies, but most ideas just don't seem to fit.

Visually,some of the things of the movie i really like. Good angles and movement.

Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark (2014)

This is a long 1,5 hours of your life. The movie is fast paced and never stopped. So much is put it, it must have been a 1000page script. The goofs are quite numerous, it seems nobody read the 1000 page script for errors. Maybe they just didn't want to give you time to think. Or they had a brainstorm and decided to add all ideas into it.

I can't remember the music or sounds of the movie. The acting is worthy of a porno movie. The visuals are there. and literally anything is possible

Halo: Nightfall (2014)

This is the syfy special of Halo? There are 3 types of alien in thism ovie.? 2 only in the first episode? and a lot of bad choices. But the threats stay fairly limited and not ramping up.

luckily the human characters are 1 dimensional so you don't really care. And almost have 2 actors that do their job. i don't want to blame them. Scenery did a good job.

2307: Winter's Dream (2016)

I like it and recommend it. It reminded me to 'the grey'. The best soldiers are dumb to make sure the story advances and the movie world is a 1D line and not a 3D map. Some special effects are used and then there is a complete lack. The presence of the baddie makes the movie fun.

The cold sometimes feels real, sometimes it is a joke.

Battle Oasis (2016)

I feel the movie lacks a universe, did it come from a game or bookseries? I would watch a sequel.

Story: alien planet with simple tribes. some magic artefacts. some animals. and scarcity making wars. One big warrior tribe live like locusts. One small tribe makes a stand. Why the good guy has dreams or how the baddie knows him, it is not explained. Hey, almost no character connection is explained. Time and distance is also a bit laughed at, for the rest it is plausible. CGI is quite okay and story-wise a lot is told and done is 1h22. I think for people, reading subtitles feels off as the entire movie is in alien tongue.

Sinbad and the Minotaur (2011 TV Movie)

It is not a monster movie. A classic story where good and evil try to reach the same treasure. They encounter few times but none is very efficient. The bad guy needs to be more bad and wears black or covers face. The good guy is super good and popular and has magical item to cheat. Henchmen are just long enough in sight to die. Monster is there. and arrives predictable. If they just examine and sell the traps with 100y guarantee or the ever-burning torches then they would get rich.

I resented a few aspects of the film. They should have stopped using CGI and build a real life model. And it is like they wrote a movie to show a few certain items and events.
