Little House on the Prairie: Men Will Be Boys (1978)
Another great episode with real life brothers...
A great "coming of age" story that ends with boys realizing there's plenty of time ahead to be men so why rush it. A lesson for all to learn is in store in this wonderful episode.
The confusing thing in this episode is of course, Laura. In one episode she's jealous of Albert and in the next, she's not.
Little House on the Prairie: I'll Be Waving as You Drive Away: Part II (1978)
Such a great episode with one exception....
First of all, this is a wonderful episode with a lesson in self-pity. Mary is so absorbed in her own loss of sight (and rightfully so), she doesn't even realize Adam too is blind until he tells her.
The exception to this great episode is Laura's terrible acting, and fake crying. I know Michael Landon saw something in "Half-Pint" thus choosing her to play Laura but damn, her acting is hard to watch in this one.
The Conners (2018)
It was like having the rug pulled out from under you.
I had anticipated the return of Roseanne since I heard they were bringing the show back. I settled down with my family after dinner and homework just as I had as a teen. The show was nostalgic gold until the network and costar's stabbed Roseanne Barr in the back which in turn screwed the rest of us. Thinking they could make it without Roseanne was the only comedy left to be seen. Shelley Winters is probably rolling over in her grave.
Thank God we still have the original episodes of Roseanne, the holidays (especially Halloween) would be sad without them.
Leave It to Beaver: Train Trip (1958)
I logged on to...
I logged on tonight to share the same frustration as the two above posters. I now know there are at least three of us in the world that would have come to Wally and Beaver's aid.
