Bloody Summer Camp (2021)
Throwback to 80's slashers
A fun throwback to 80's horror films that will keep you guessing right until the end. Featuring some horror personalities that you will recognize if you are horror fan.
The Worry Doll (2019)
Independent cinema at its finest
I was lucky enough to see this at a film festival last year and was not disappointed. From beginning to end this film is amazing. I cannot wait to see what Brandon Lay has in the future for us
Her Name Was Christa (2020)
This will be a cult classic in the future
Her Name Was Christa is the first movie from James Edwards. In no way does it feel like this is the first time he has done a film. From the beginning to the end this movie keeps you entertained and interested in each character.
Cherokee Creek (2018)
A new take on Bigfoot that is part comedy and part horror
This film was both part comedy and part horror. The filmmakers knew how to get you to both laugh and cringe at some of the scenes at the same time. This is not a Hollywood film but is a lot of fun, and is actually a horror comedy not like what is being put out nowadays
Sleep Eaters (2017)
Maine made horror
I ordered this title after hearing about the original short. This movie starts out showing what happened in the original short. From there it goes on to show why the events are happening. If you are a fan of low budget independent horror you need to see this film.
The Barn (2016)
A throwback to horror movies when I was growing up
What an incredible movie. A throwback to horror movies gen I grew up. Blood, guts, and gore. The makeup effects were incredible for an independent horror movie. I can't wait to see what this movie companies next movie is. The movie made me feel like I was right back in the 80's which is what the movie company was trying to do. The monsters ion the film came off scary and believable, and one of the special features shows us where the concept for this title came from. Also having a few appearances from horror legends and scream queen made this title that more special. I do not want to give away a lot of this film, but it will become a Halloween tradition for me to watch. If only horror movies of today were like this title then horror fans would be in good shape. A horror movie needs to be rated R and a lot of today's titles are not and they are not horror. So if you get a chance to see this title do so.
Slew Hampshire (2013)
Possible Spoiler
I was lucky enough to see this at one of the 3 screenings last weekend 6-14-15. For an independent horror this was really good. The story keeps you going from beginning to end, and leaves you thinking is this the end? If you have the chance give this movie a chance. Do not let other people who have given their reviews sway you from seeing this film that was filmed in New Hampshire. I hope that the director gets a chance to make more independent movies and that he can film in New Hampshire again as it shows that he took pride in the film and took his time in releasing it to make sure that it was his vision. It showed that he really took pride in making this movie
