Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

Not worth it

I couldn't wait to watch this movie before it came out...and now that I seen it, I definitely wished I would've waited for it to come out through other digital services. For beginners, the movie is WAY to long and the build up could have been a lot better not dry and misleading as to what the trailers were advertising. There were a lot of moments I found myself saying, "Really?"..."Are you serious?"..."This is boring!" But finally, after a full hour (literally) of watching dry, boring, time consuming, wake me up when its over story telling...they finally showed what EVERYONE wanted to see. Superman vs Batman :) Although the action was a little appetizer of what was to come...it still left a sour taste in my mouth because of how long it took to get to this scene. But in the end, the movie is not close to being on a Marvel Comic platform of action. They have a long way to go to get this Justice League theme on good terms with the fans of this genre of movies. With the amount of money they spent on the whole concept ($250M+) I hope everyone involved got their money BEFORE they started production. Go watch London has Fallen...much better movie!

Empire (2015–2020)

Trying to hard!

This show has way TOO many try hard (catch your attention) moments. It would be a lot better if they would take their foot off the gas pedal a little. (Actually a lot) It's like watching a TV series of Jerry Springer meets Hustle & Flow on steroids. The music however is great...which sounds better than 80% of the garbage that is out at this moment. But there is so much going on, along with so many special guest appearances, it's like they're trying so hard to build it up that it's going to make it even harder to follow up throughout the next seasons afterward. Family issues, guns, drugs, thugs, FBI, corruption, backstabbing, infidelity...only thing they're missing is aliens and terrorist. Wait...the season isn't over with...maybe they'll put terrorist and aliens in the next show. Wouldn't surprise me.
