Monsters (2015)
Astounding!
I just watched this short film on YouTube. I am completely blown away by what was fit into these 12 1/2 minutes. I thought one thing, then another. And then another! Good acting. Beautifully shot! I enjoyed this very very much. Thank you.
Who's Watching Oliver (2017)
Bloody, Brilliant and Beautiful
This was my favorite movie I watched this year. I had seen a trailer some months before it's release and was anxiously awaiting its release. It is bloody, but also very beautiful in nature. Fantastic writing and great acting. Awesome.
A serial killer, tormented by his mother and mental health issues and medications, has an interesting self help method. Ha! Though still managing to fall in love with someone quite damaged themselves. Maybe it's the "loner" in my, but this movie tugged at my heartstrings in a strange but satisfying way.
So I'll answer the question for you. Who's Watching Oliver? Me. Again and again. Give this movie a watch.
12 Kilometers (2016)
Interesting and creepy and WELL DONE!
I was lucky enough to be able to view this short film thanks to director Mike Pecci. And and am very thankful.
12KM at multiple times had me sitting on the edge of my couch with this heavy dark feeling over me. Somewhat how certain scenes in Carpenter's The Thing made me feel. Partly due to the fantastic score, or at moments, lack of. And the photography is beautiful and creates a mood that almost puts you there.
I love the concept behind the "12KM". I don't want to say anything. Ha! I really hope this film gets a feature length. I think it could be really different and very cool. Excellent job to all.
And once again, thanks a lot.
Cheers!
