Die Hart (2020)
Maybe there are people that will like this, but I don't know any of them.
It's a worse version of exactly what you expect it to be. It feels like the budget was akin to a couple actors getting their phones out and shooting a proof of concept movie that no one was meant to see. I would avoid this unless you are a die hard Kevin Hart fan and even then set the bar lower then ever before.
There are no surprises you don't see coming a mile away and I can't think of a single joke that didn't make me roll my eyes. The whole movie I was just waiting for it to be over. This is definitely not the quality you are used to seeing in a Kevin Hart movie. I still think he can be funny but this was a big miss for so many reasons...
Invincible (2021)
As fun and realistic as a show about superheroes can be!
Normally in superhero shows or movies normal physics are out the window. Like if a woman is falling from a 100 story building, the hero can catch her mid-fall and she's perfectly safe. Where-as if that same thing happened within this show's universe.... when the hero attempts to catch the woman she would explode into a pile of blood and guts just as she would if she would of hit the pavement below instead of the heroes rock hard muscles. It's nice to think that with enough strength you could catch someone and save them but in reality no matter how strong you are by the time the woman gets to your arms she will be traveling around 150MPH and where you hit pavement, water, or very strong arms... the outcome is the same. Traveling that incredibly fast and then stopping right away when caught would put enough G-Forces on your body to turn it to mostly liquid and become a disaster, not a simple catch falling woman and save the day moment.
Now I've typed most of my review about an incident that doesn't even happen in this show.. I just made it up because the point I was making is all that matters. Like in that scenario real life physics would stand in the way of most superhero moments and this show makes an earnest attempt to keep things somewhat grounded in that department. So as you can imagine making a show about super strong/fast/tough/able to fly, superheroes duking it out gets extremely bloody/gory. In that regard it reminds me of the show "The Boys" which has a very similar premise. Only this show in animated so it can take things much further and funner.
All in all I'd give this show a 9/10 rating overall.
For me personally I would rate this show a 10/10.
If you are a comic book fan that enjoys when things get really violent the rating would be 12/10.
And for the average person who neither likes nor hates comics and checks the show out anyway rates 8/10.
And finally if you hate comics and or blood then you can skip this one.
