La La Land (2016)
What a Land!!!
And ... Oscar goes to ... La La Land ...
This promise to be said at the Oscar ceremony to be held at the end of February. Yes, it is true, I have traveled to the future, and I have learned the end result. "Such movies are not doing it anymore." It was a very accurate word. It's like an old-time movie. But it was built with a modern infrastructure. It was a fairy-tale film that was reinforced by the facts and technology of the era we lived on. Those who do not like the musical may not like the musical, but they will watch it. I know myself. I do not like Singin 'in the Rain that everyone fancies. I like to listen to the music but the dances are boring to me. But is that so? The dance scenes that resemble Indian movies are not much in the way I have already mentioned. I think I might have loved him that much.
Already the musical is called this film, but the romantic part of it is heavier. It's a musical, somewhat romantic-drama style. It has a pure, delicate beauty. It is a star of the year 2016 that you feel as if you were different from your first stage. I loved the soundtrack of Stars with City Of Stars. I can say that Oscar is unrivaled in original music. The City of Stars plays the song so many times that you get bored if you hear so many other songs so often, but you can say that you play a little more as you listen to it. Damien Chazelle, Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. What kind of work did you do? I always call it an Oscar, but I need to say that each of these three will get at least a nomination. Emma Stone is fascinated by its beauty, beauty. Ryan is a romantic man. We remember from The Notebook movie with Rachel McAdams. It is a player who can be played without thinking in such roles. Chazelle made the right choice. Both players. What I'm going to tell you about Chazelle is that he's a musician. I do not know if he might worship music. Whiplash first, now this movie. Dude, please keep making movies.
In the film there is a message like capitalism and human being as a sub-text. Or I do not know if it came to me. Messages such as returning from ideals for money, being a slave of money, abandoning its goals because the community does not like it, living for others, waiting for others to like you constantly. I think that's the main idea. I think these kinds of things add more to the reality of people. I did not know. The essence is not the year, but maybe the best musical of all time. This year's best film, did I say that? Good looking ...
Hacksaw Ridge (2016)
The best battle scene ever
One word, legend. It was the movie with the best battle scenes I've watched so far. I have never watched another battle scene so realistic, so vibrant, so vibrant for so many people. Er Ryan has a famous landing stage. There's a better battle scene than him.
At first I have to say. The movie looks a bit like Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket. Especially in terms of first and second half. The first part is not a severe psychology like FMJ. But it is similar in structure. It's more emotional and funny in places. But from the moment the second episode began, I was buried in the seat. I almost fell into the war.
A silence and a bullet. Here you hear the voice of the buzzer. After that, doomsday. The bullet is passing by the head. Human flesh is flying over. The man's brains are bursting. A few feet away the man has no legs. Bombs are flying in the back. That's what he was. A bullet. Nobody has any idea what's going on. Only the flying bullets, the blood and the rest of the human remains. I can go back to the cinema for that episode so I say. Just for that episode. And also whoever did the vocalization, give it to the man Oscar. Speaking is perfect in the real sense.
I guess the best of war movies in terms of visual and sound. There are other things missing, but get it. Acting is not very good overall. But in the father role, I love Hugo Weaving. The film has a little Forrest Gump, a little Saving Private Ryan, a little Full Metal Jacket and a little Paths of Glory. He's got something all the time. But in essence it's a movie of its own. Watch, watch. Good looking ...
Dag II (2016)
Turkish Private Ryan
It is one of the top 3 films of Turkish cinema history. I can call it Private Ryan of Turkish cinema. In other words, Hollywood's Saving Private Ryan is what makes this film worthy of our film.
The battle scenes, the use of weapons, conflicts, all very real and within your life. It conveys it to you as if it is feeling. Especially the human emotions are very beautiful. It is a film that shows the emotions that people inside the stage are capable of and under what conditions they are trained. It tells us that there are people who have emotions in them and that they are not machines. Train as much as you want, enter as many battles as you want, fear is never missing.
This film may be a stepping stone for Turkish cinema. Because if such productions are made and are in demand, directors can also lead such quality works.
Caglar Ertuğrul, Ufuk Bayraktar and Murat Serezli were very good. But Murat Serezli made a successful acting in real sense. We are now waiting for more films from Alper Caglar. He raised the crater too. After that, expectation will be high. There is now a mass of audience. If he can shoot it with this budget, who knows what to do if there is a chance. Good looking ...
Arrival (2016)
It will be almost nice
Heavy spoiler .......
I'm walking around on a fine line between liking and liking. It's a strange movie that has turned from being a legend. I like it because the philharmonic direction is really strong. There is philosophy in 2001 odyssey standard. I do not like it at the same time because there are a lot of open doors and unanswered questions and deficiencies. I like it, because my narration is plain and simple. The introduction and the dating process are pretty good. It smells of quality. Afterwards, it was ordinary film. It's a mediocre film.
I will write the headlines of these shortcomings, if you will give me an appointment, see if I am right. First of all we have to ask, these aliens have such high standards, they can pass the speed of light, the journey is like that. Do they not learn English, which is a simple language? So this system does not exist. Okay, come on, they were talking to the rings, the system was different or I would pass it on! What a thing. These men came to say that you should not fight each other 3,000 years ago. Oh, man, what a pain you are. It's not worth the light you burn. One more thing, why 12? 12 months, half of 24 hours why 12? What was it and why was not explained. Let's say 12 months. It represents what it is. Later, when China did not attack, everything was resolved and then they all disappeared. I'm going to say that you messed up a bag of pearls, Denis. This film is watched despite this negativity.
Film note: If you know what you will live in the rest of your life, would you do everything in the same way? Good looking ...
The Hateful Eight (2015)
Snow, chat, chat, chat, Blood...
This is the original Quentin Tarantino film. Very crazy movie. I mean, its very different. I think everybody don't like this movie. Only true Tarantino fans. Because there is a lot of slow scene. And it will be boring sometimes. But i like it. The best movie in 2015, I've seen. This is not good as Django or Pulp Fiction but you must see. There is blood. A lot blood.
Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tim Roth and Walton Goggins are very good played. They are OK. But Jennifer Jason Leigh is awesome. I think she will win the Oscar. I hope so. Film was very well. İf you love Tarantino, you must watch. Thats all. By the way my English is not good. Sorry for that...
