True Detective: Now Am Found (2019)
Time indeed is a flat circle
I thoroughly enjoyed the finale, it was exactly what I had hoped for. There weren't any big action scenes, and I am actually glad. The reason I fell in love with this show in the first place was because it's a character study first and foremost, and this finale just proved that again.
Do I need to say anything about the acting? It's amazing from the first minutes of this season to its last.
The writing is also beautiful and poetic, god bless you Pizzolatto.
I can see how some people could end up being disappointed by this finale, but I'd say they didn't really understand the show in the first place.
To sum up, this is a great ending to a great season!
True Detective: Other Lives (2015)
66 days later
Excellent episode. This season gets better with each episode, and, after watching the promo for the next episode, I feel it's gonna be the same. Season one's quality kinda went down after episode 5, but it was still the best thing on television. I feel like this season is just the opposite. Don't get me wrong, I love the whole season, but for me it just keeps getting better. And now I can't wait for the next episode. The dialogue was great in this episode. On the contrary of the popular belief, I think Vince Vaughn is killing it. That line when Ray bangs on his door and he shouts: I'm f_cking coming! Shut the f_ck up! I laughed so hard. Taylor Kitsch's acting is improving, though I still feel like his acting is the weakest. Rachel McAdams and Colin Farrell are still amazing. And also, RIP the 'stache.
The plot really moved forward in this episode. We found out that Frank set up Ray, and that Ray's ex wife's rapist was found. We find out more about Dr. Pitlor, and how he was involved with Ben Caspere and The Mayor's son.
There's also a great scene when Ray beats up Dr. Pitlor.
All in all, an amazing episode. 10/10
True Detective: Down Will Come (2015)
The Big Bang
This week's episode steps up the game in every way possible. The dialogue is much better, it doesn't feel stilted at all. Unlike many others, I loved the first episode, then felt the next two were good, but nothing special. But my mind is blown right now, just like in the last season, Pizzolatto outdid himself with the episode 4's ending. I had so many emotions. And I applaud the show for being realistic in some way, showing the consequences of the shoot-out. In most network police procedurals, shoot-outs happen, and after that, the detectives go for a drink, like nothing happened. But, here we see Ani and Ray crying, looking at the massacre that happened. The investigation finally moved a bit, I didn't get the feeling like the lines were just thrown in there, to sound smart, it all had a nice flow. The acting has improved, mostly Taylor Kitsch's. He was the weakest link for me this season, but in this episode, he killed it. I loved the scene between him and Ray.
This episode got me hooked, and I finally can't wait for the next episode. Bravo!

True Detective: The Western Book of the Dead (2015)
Loved it!
What a great premiere, oh my god. It was really slow, but I loved it. I checked how much of the episode was left, expecting like 30 minutes, and I see only 2. It was all so great! First the acting: everyone does an amazing job, especially Farrell. Characters: I loved every single one, they are all broken, maybe Semyon not as much as the others. Plot: this wasn't a plot-driven episode, it was slow, and we see the crime scene only at the end. This first episode is basically here to introduce us to the characters. Thank God the characters were amazing. For me, the last 15 minutes is when it all pays off, when they get together and it all connects. Justin Lin also does a good job, not as amazing as Fukunaga, but that was expected. Fukunaga is like a god!
All in all, I'm in! Can't wait for the next episode.
Castle: Hollander's Woods (2015)
A great way to end the season!
This was, after "Always", my favorite season finale of Castle. It was just so brilliant, I teared up a few times during the episode. The case was a really big one, the one that brought answers to Castle, and the fans, letting us know why he became a writer. It was written wonderfully, the dialogue was amazing! I can't wait to see what's gonna happen with Beckett's career. But, in the time travel episode, I think the guy said that Beckett would become a state senator. I don't know if it was done intentionally, but I loved how it tied up. The barn scene, oh my god, I absolutely loved the scene. I won't ruin it to you by going into detail. All in all, this was a great way to end an amazing season. A must watch!

Castle: Castle, P.I. (2015)
Smart, funny and heartwarming
Words cannot describe how much I loved this episode. Easily the best episode of the season, and my new favorite Castle episode. I loved every second of it. I'm still shocked how good this was, after last two episodes, which where mediocre, this one was like a blast.
It had a great case, complicated, and the resolution was good. Castle being a PI was so funny! There were some really sweet Caskett moments, I couldn't help but smile like crazy. I liked seeing them compete who's gonna solve the case first. But eventually they needed each other to do it properly.
I'd like to see Castle being a PI for as long as possible. Because this brings something new to the show. It brings a new dynamic.
And the ending was brilliant! I'm a huge Sherlock Holmes fan, read all the stories. And when she pulled out that gift, I was really hoping that it was something Sherlock related. But when I saw a deerstalker, I was so freaking happy! And that Caskett kiss at the end, oh my...
Bravo!

Broadchurch: Episode #2.1 (2015)
I swear to God, I can't handle this show
I just can't. I was nervous through the whole episode, it was so bloody brilliant. At first, when Mark wasn't answering his phone, I thought he was cheating on Beth again. And I thought to myself: That bastard! But then, when I realized that he was hanging out with Tom I couldn't decide if I was disgusted with him or I felt sorry for him. I don't know if he's planning to murder Tom, or if he misses his son and this helps him a little. And the courtroom scenes were so powerful. The acting is incredible.
I like that Paul and Becca are together. They're really adorable.
One thing I forgot. The second part of this episode, aside from trial. The new mystery. Finally they'll show us more about Sandbrook. It looks promising, and I wasn't bored by it at all.
For me, all the elements in this episode worked perfectly.

Castle: Bad Santa (2014)
Mediocre
I know that probably a lot of fans won't agree with me on this one. But I thought this was a mediocre episode. As soon as I saw that the Creaseys were the writers, I knew I won't have a good time watching this. And I was right.
For me the plot was okay, a little cheesy. And I knew that something bad will happen, 'cause it is the mid season finale, and, hey, how can it be without a cliffhanger. And a bad one, of course. And, also, the reason that got Castle "fired" is so lame. I think he did a lot of worse things before, and nothing happened. Another reason why I hate it. And I'm also so sick of these things separating Kate and Rick. Why can't they write something positive, this is getting annoying really. I think that most of the fans think like this.
I hope they get over this quickly and get Castle back in the precinct.

Castle: Kill Switch (2014)
Brilliant episode
This was awesome. It wasn't an ordinary episode of Castle. But it worked pretty well. They already did an episode like this. Cops and robbers, and it was perfection. They seem to know how to write these kind of episodes.
So, the plot was pretty simple. Espo's taken hostage. Hostage episodes can be very tricky. They can either be good, or be awful. Fortunately, this one was good. And I like how we finally got some updates on Esposito and Lanie's relationship. Maybe we can expect a happy announcement by the end of the season. It would be really great to end the season with them getting either engaged or married. And, of course, finding out more about Castle's disappearance.
There were some pretty sweet scenes in this episode, those scenes are always my favorite. When it's more about the characters, and not about the plot. Javi's and Ryan's talk in the car, and Esposito saying Lanie's name right before he was about to take down the bad guy.
I'm giving this a 9/10. The only thing I think was a little rushed is the way Esposito got to the subway. But, nevertheless, still a good episode.
Castle: Once Upon a Time in the West (2014)
Best honeymoon ever
Woah! This was awesome. Everything in this episode worked perfectly. The case was brilliant! The acting amazing. And this was a very funny episode. I laughed a lot, they really used the old west in the best way they could. I cannot compliment this episode enough.
Like I said, the case was brilliant. It was an actual treasure hunt, with a lot of twists. And I couldn't guess who the killer is. It started like an ordinary case, but then it just got more, and more complicated.
But, the thing I loved the most in this episode are Caskett scenes and Ryan's, Lanie's and Espo's anger because they weren't at the wedding.
And I loved Gates in this episode, too. She helped them understand that they should be happy for Castle and Beckett, because they finally made it work.
The ending was so sweet. Espo and Ryan agreed to give 2 days of their vacation days each to Beckett. Just so Caskett can have a real honeymoon.
And, just one more thing. Stana was super hot in this episode. That black outfit! Oh my God!

Castle: The Time of Our Lives (2014)
Yes! Finally!
Finally. We got the wedding. Yes! It was amazing. This episode was extraordinary, and I like that the case was connected to the wedding. It wasn't just some case of the week, and then, out of nowhere, the wedding. No, this case made them get married.
Actually, Castle figured out that he couldn't live without Beckett.
He figured that out while he was in the alternate universe. Now, to that. I think it was awesomely done. It wasn't lame at all, and I love how he got to that universe. The moment he was holding the artifact, that can get you to another universe, he thought how Beckett would have a better life without him. And then he got to live that, and I love the ending, where he saved her life. And when he "woke up" he understood, that, what they have, in this life, it's perfect. And nothing is better. So he decided it's time to get married.
And the wedding was beautiful, and I'm glad that Beckett's dad was there too. I just wish Lanie, Javi and Ryan were there too. Because they all together make one big family.
And, also, no matter what universe they're in, Castle is completely incapable of staying in the car.

Castle: Meme Is Murder (2014)
So. Freaking. Awesome!
Oh my god! I loved this episode. It kept me at the edge of my seat. This was so amazing. I can't express it enough. You just have to watch it. I believe this is my favorite episode in, like, last two years.
I love these episodes with serial killers, who are also smart and psychopaths. They usually turn out to be my favorite. This is no exception. The plot of this episode was really great. 40 minutes flew by so fast. By the end, I didn't want this episode to end. The only thing I was afraid is that maybe the ending will be anti climatic, but it wasn't. The resolution was just as awesome as the whole episode. And, also, the ending was hilarious. My stomach started to hurt.
This season started off great, and it just keeps getting better every week. And knowing that the wedding and honeymoon episodes are up to next, it will probably maintain the same level of awesomeness.

Castle: Clear & Present Danger (2014)
Really odd!
Well, this episode was really odd! They actually went sci-fi. Yes, there were sci-fi episodes before, but the resolution always explained that there's nothing sci-fi going on. This episode took it to the next level.
The writers for this episode wrote Smells like teen spirit, also. A sci- fi..ish episode. And when I saw the promo, I was really skeptical. And through all 40 minutes, I was hoping that we'll see an resolution including no sci-fi. But by the end I kinda went with it, and I realized that's not gonna happen. Still not approving it totally. I mean it wasn't sci-fi like Doctor Who. But, still, an invisibility cloak. Really?
But, the case was really well written. And there were some funny moments still.
So, it's all on you. If you can suspend your disbelief, you're gonna like this episode. Or if you're just gonna hate that they put an invisibility cloak as a resolution, then you'll probably want to forget this episode.
Castle: Montreal (2014)
Awesome!
Yes! Castle's back! This was a great episode, I loved it. It had a good mystery. You know, case of the week, as usual. But what made it great was the interaction between the characters. This episode was written by AWM. And, knowing that, I also knew it was going to be a great episode. And I was right. We got something new about Castle's disappearance, along with a great case. And that's what I call amazing writing. The way it was all put together, without it being rushed. And it had great resolution at the end. But, for me, the best part was near the end. At that building, in Montreal. We found out that Castle asked not to remember, because something horrible happened and he didn't want to remember. I thought that was intriguing, and smart. And I love it even more because of all the fans saying how amnesia is clichéd, and all that stuff. But, this changes everything. And the acting was great in this episode, per usual. Last episode we saw amazing acting from Stana Katic. And now it was time for Nathan to shine. And he did. His acting in that scene in Montreal, near the end of the episode was really amazing!
And, also, one more happy thing. Espo and Lanie are back together! Wohoo!
Castle: Driven (2014)
Great episode
This was the first episode with AWM not being the showrunner. And, I was looking forward to it, it had great potential. And it delivered. David Amann is a great writer, he wrote almost all of my favorite episodes, some being That 70's Show, Disciple, 3XK, Heroes and Villains.
I loved this episode. It was awesome. It gave us some answers, but, still, more questions. The plot was good, not incredible, or a masterpiece, but I enjoyed it. I see a lot of people complaining about the amnesia, but we still don't know that for sure. And if he doesn't remember the last 2 months, maybe he was drugged. We'll see. Now, the thing I disliked. I'm pretty sure that the whole Castle fandom hated Esposito. I just wanted to punch him. From the start, he thought Castle faked the whole kidnapping just to get out of the wedding. They are friends for 6 years, and yet Espo still doesn't trust Castle at all. I'm really curious if this was made on purpose, because there is some big secret, or if it was just bad writing.
So, to sum up, I liked this episode. Everything, but Esposito.
