Witch (2024)
An intriguing gothic horror with a hint of science fiction
This extremely entertaining gothic horror story, co-directed by Craig Hinde and Mark Zammit, will keep you completely engrossed and on the edge of your seat the entire time.
Starring in Witch is the excellent Russell Shaw, who gives a remarkable performance as the mysterious recluse Thomas. Shaw undoubtedly has a great future ahead of him, and I hope to see more work from him.
Fabrizio Santino, Ryan Spong, Daniel Jordan, and Sarah Alexandra Marks all deliver outstanding performances as well.
Richard Oakes provides the stunning cinematography which is beautiful to watch.
Reece Sanders handles the visual effects masterfully, and they are consistently very powerful.
The stunning settings and costumes, which heighten the sense of realism and transport you to 16th-century England, are always well-detailed.
Imran Ahmed, a very gifted composer, has created an incredible score that enhances the historical context of England in 1575.
Strongly recommended; supernatural horror enthusiasts will adore it.
The Lockdown Hauntings (2021)
An amazing achievement from Director Howard J. Ford
Check out this fabulous British horror thriller from director Howard J. Ford ( Never Let Go, The Dead and Adventure Boyz)
Shot entirely during lockdown with a one man crew and featuring an array of established and new acting talent.
The film also features the brilliant Tony Todd (Candyman, The Crow and Platoon)
Some genuine scary moments throughout this very well made British horror with a fabulous cliffhanger ending. Bring on the sequel.
Offensive (2016)
Very enjoyable horror/revenge thriller from director Jon Ford.
Well done to director Jon Ford for creating the brilliant horror/revenge thriller Offensive.
If you enjoy revenge thrillers like Death Wish and Harry Brown then you'll love Offensive.
A retired couple are targeted by a cruel gang of street youths with disastrous consequences.
Offensive definitely kept me on the edge of my seat throughout and had some very tense and disturbing scenes which fans of the genre will love.
I won't give anything else away so please go and check out Offensive as you won't be disappointed.
