Absolute mess
16 October 2022
This show was an absolute mess. Was it a comedy? No, it wasnt funny. I didnt laugh once. Was it a law drama? No, the few court scenes were meaningless. Was it an action show? No, there was no action. Were the cameos good? No, they made existing and well liked Marvel characters look dumb. Did the show break stereotypes? No, every man in the show was portrayed as dumb and incompentent. Young women were ditzy. The fashion designer, of course, was a gay man. There was absolutely nothing redeeming about this show at all. The ending? Terrible. Was the 4th wall breaking good? No. While "technically" She-Hulk did it in the comics first, Deadpool did it better. There was nothing redeeming about this show. Disney/Marvel seems to have run out of ideas and writers and is simply going for quantity over quality, to appease movie goers and streamers.

Quite possible the worst show ever aired on TV
5 March 2020
I honestly dont have the vocabulary to describe how bad this show is. This show is cringe-worthy on so many levels. The writing on this show is so bad, so utterly idiotic, that it actually becomes fascinating. Its like watching a train wreck, you cant turn away. Its almost like the writers are playing a game with the audience, trying to see how far they can go.

This movie makes The Happening look like a masterpiece.
23 February 2019
I cant begin to describe how bad this movie was. Its as if the writers watched The Happening and said, "Lets do that, but more boring. Also, lets not explain anything, or have any conclusion."

This movie was so boring, that 2 hours into it I checked to see how much time was left and was actually shocked that I was only an hour into it. I am not kidding, I actually thought I had been watching for 2 hours.

Once the movie ends suddenly, you are left with nothing but unanswered questions. Nothing was explained to the viewer as to what or why the events happened. Nothing is resolved. The only thing that happens is Sandra Bullocks character has some minor personal growth, which was to be expected.

Although this movie was 2 hours long, I want the 4 hours back that it felt like.

A poor combination of ideas
21 February 2019
Unfortunately, this show was ill-conceived. While the premise sounds like it has potential, it simply couldnt be executed to satisfy the two audiences it seems to target: Pool players and history buffs.

For those interested in pool/billiards, they will be disappointed. While Ronnie does play some pool, the games are edited down to just a couple minutes. Even when talking to legends of the sport, they spend no time with them. They get a couple sound bites out of them, but there is no real dialogue. Pool players want to see the games, the techniques and decision making used. None of that is here.

Then there is talk of hustling, which Ronnie does none of. While some pool players in the US will know who Ronnie is, most wouldnt. Even though he says he doesnt, I dont believe for a fraction of a second that Ronnie doesnt know how to hustle. That being said, it would be hard with a camera crew. Additionally, I assume this is a family program, so I doubt the History Channel wants to promote gambling. So why even push that angle, the little that they do?

Then there is the history. They go to various cities and see historic places. They spend so little time at each place, that there is no value. Add in the fact Ronnie doesnt show any real personality, that the co-presenter does most of the talking.

SImply put, you cant condense all the subject matter people would want into such a short show. That coupled with a less than interesting host, you are left with a show that cant hold anyone's interest.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2016–2022)

Superhero show without superheroes.
6 February 2017
DC's Legends of Tomorrow isn't as good as their other shows. Arrow, Flash, and now Super Girl are just better overall. I believe the real issue is the special effects budget. Simply put, you rarely see Steel in his steel form (which does look a little low tech, but probably cheaper to do, as it is more often shown), The Atom is rarely in his suit, much less being big or small, and the two halves of Firestorm rarely merge into Firestorm. It is a superhero show that doesn't show superheroes being super heroic. This limits the scripts a lot, unfortunately. I keep watching the show though and hoping that it will get better.

What were they thinking?
28 January 2017
So the show is game/reality show on replacing the original MythBusters duo. What made Adam and Jamie so great was their personalities and how they played off each other. The key word here is PERSONALITY.

This ridiculous game/reality show doesn't let the viewer see the contestants personalities. The rehash old myths and do builds. I couldn't tell you the name of any contestant if my life depended on it.

We don't care if they can build. We care if they are engaging.

Hell, the host has a great personality which shows on his Because Science YouTube channel, but you don't see that at all. He just comes off looking like some random guy.

BattleBots (2015– )

Fun, but cant find its identity
6 July 2015
Battlebots is a show that can be enjoyed by everyone. However in its aim to please everyone, it forgets its major appeal - the robots fighting.

The show has to last for a short season which is essentially to root of the problem. The robot fights themselves are limited to 10 minutes, however many of the fights are won in a few seconds. That means there is an extraordinary amount of fluff and time-filler to stretch the show.

The builders' bios, while moderately interesting, last longer than the fights.

There is a "boxing pre-game" type segment where non-technical people talk about utterly meaningless and arbitrary stats about the robots. One of the hosts is a MMA fighter. What insight does a MMA fighter have in robot fights? The answer is simple: none. While I am not overtly complaining, the director really seems to like Molly McGrath's legs. Obviously, she is there for the male audience and brings nothing but exceptionally good looks to the show.

Another fault, which I believe is an unfortunate oversight, is the show could be an excellent vehicle for education in electronics, mechanical engineering, robotics, etc. The show offers no information on how anything works.

Again, while I think the show if fun to watch, there is a lot that could be improved.

Its Mythbusters light... very light
18 April 2015
Not much to say about this show. Someone decided to rip off Mythbusters, which is fine. However, the show is just not as good. The hosts aren't very interesting. The show is more fluff than anything. The episode where they try to stop a car without brakes is a perfect example. Im not an engineer (but one host is), but I know for a fact that none of the methods were going to work. I also have a feeling the show is a little fake. The episode where they do a beer delivery system, it seems way to fortuitous that a bank's pneumatic system was conveniently available.

Its not bad, its just not good. Id rather re-watch an old episode of Mythbusters than this show.

Absolute garbage
3 August 2014
What do you picture in your mind when you think of the Hulk?

If you imagined a giant green rage monster, then you, sir, are an idiot.

If you pictured the Hulk being a well spoken fatherly figure, flying spaceships, futuristic cars, and shooting laser weapons from his wrist, and talking about his feelings in a video confessional for a blog, then you are a winner!

Reread the previous paragraph.

Read it again.

Words cant describe how awful this show is. Its almost as if the writers were challenged to cram the most non-Hulkish ideas into a show for a bet... And they succeeded. I don't know if they should be congratulated or executed for crimes against television.
