So bad that it's good
1 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
All of these bad reviews missed the point. This movie wasn't supposed to be taken seriously. It was dry satire. The entire point was that everyone is doing everything except what they should do. For goodness sakes, they give the guy wifi so that the world can watch his house burn. Even the small stuff was purpisefully inconsistant. The bus door was originally metal with windows and the next minute it was wooden without windows. It's not supposed to make sense. It's satire. It's awful. And quite honestly it's brilliantly awful. I thoroughly enjoyed it. This could have been improved if Daniel Radcliff had played a part in it and they actually showed the impact of the at the end. Daniel makes these type of odd movies *chefs kiss*.

Dreadfully slow and left with questions
8 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
There is nothing I despise more cinimatically than when questions are left unanswered. Why did the main character give the gardener money? Where is his friend from? Why did the ms friend find it completely normal for a kid to be left alone and the family to suddenly be out of town with zero confirmation? What was his motivation? Who the hell were the little girl and mom? Why did that mom suddenly abandon her? What happened after the family got let out of the hole? There is no way they just went back 5o a normal life. And why was the little girl walking in the woods at the end?
