Stargate Universe (2009–2011)

They changed the format of the entire Stargate series. No wonder it failed!

They completely changed the format of the series. ALL of the other Stargate series were lighter. They still had serious arcs, but the characters actually liked each other. The viewer did not have to wonder who of the main characters was going to backstab whom. They made this one far too dark. They fu¢ked it up. They did not mess it up. They did not freak it up. They completely FU¢KED it up. When you have a successful franchise, you do not fu¢k it up by changing the basic format. If they ever want to get it back up and running successfully, go back to the original format. But this version was a middle finger to all the fans of the original series and its spinoffs. It was insulting.

MacGyver (2016–2021)

I understand why Richard Dean Anderson didn't want to cameo

This was such a heartbreaking disappointment. This young dude uses guns! MacGyver HATES guns! And they don't explain ANY of the science like they did in the original series.

This is NOT a reboot. This is just another junkie show stealing the creds from a former hit. Blah.
