Caretakers (2019)
Thinking this movie is great based on other reviews? Well, read mine also..
I feel I might have given this movie a star too much.. It's somewhere between 2 and 4 (out of 10, of course). Most of all those high rating reviews that has been given to this movie is, in my mind, probably "fake" (=not very honest). That's my opinion and what I believe anyway.
Those high ratings and reviews made me watch this one - so because of those high rated reviews I feel that I have to warn others from thinking this movie is very, very good. It's not. Don't trust all those other high reviews is what I would like to say..
Interreflections (2020)
Like Zeitgeist Moving Forward - but made with big dose of art!
Great mix of art and facts in here about the direction the world is going - and that isn't pretty.. We elect presidents and other leaders that are just, more or less, psychopaths and power seeking people! I sometimes think that most people are too "blind" to understand what is going on around them and in the world (maybe busy working, or they probably don't have enough all-embracing knowledge to understand what is really happening. Sadly).
InterReflection gives, at least me, hope that more people will "wake up" from their wicked/disturbed sense of reality - and maybe, at least maybe start to wonder if we actually could go in the direction of making the world better. Far better! Hm, how many "Trumps or Bidens" (of any of those fools) will we elect before we finally wake up and realises that this isn't working anymore...
InterReflection is very important, and at least for me, a masterpiece!
Mandy (2018)
This one was so bad - I have to warn others!
Finally, maybe a good Nicolas Cage movie, I hoped! But, wow I was wrong!
It was so bad acting from everyone, and Cage was no exception. I don't even know why I give this one a rating of 2 out of 10, because it was garbage. But, at least I didn't fall asleep.. If I had, I would have giving it 3/10.. ;)
Requiem for the American Dream (2015)
An important documentary - but without a real solution.
This is a very important documentary with a lot of information - especially for the uninformed about society and what mechanisms there are that's "controlling" us and how we then behave, like puppets.
But what I miss here is discussions about solutions, and that's why I can't give this documentary a 10 out of 10. I would like this documentary to be more educational and have more discussions about alternative solutions - like the "Zeitgeist Moving Forward"-documentary did!
But Requiem for the American Dream is, of course, very much worth seeing! This informative educational documentary should be viewed in schools! Why isn't it?
