Philadelphia (1993)
If there's one movie you watch this has to be it!!
You want to watch a movie that makes you think, tugs at your heart strings and overall makes you question your own morals then this is it. Tom hanks and Denzel Washington deliver a masterful performance along with lessons especially of that time. Some still present to this day but for those who lived during these times this movie will hit you all at once.
There's a moment in this movie where Tom hanks doesn't even say a thing but that to me was probably one of the most powerful moments in this film. It's when he is in search of a lawyer to defend him and gets shot down by his tenth pick. He's just standing outside in the cold and all alone. Depicts how we treat one another especially when we are ignorant of the issue.
Please watch this movie in your lifetime, you won't regret it. Get your family to watch it because it covers why we are suffering as a society. Our prejudiced nature and what we choose to believe rather than trying to discover the truth. We need to be better.
The Darkness Outside (2022)
How is this rated 7????
Bored from the moment I started watching it. Horrible acting couldn't stand to complete watching it. Seems like a first time for the directors and actors. Hence I have it a 3 star for effort. Other than that seems a waste of time.
Red Notice (2021)
Ughhhh
I really hate to be doing this but this movie was boring as hell. Expected a lot from Ryan Reynolds, I feel he's doing way too much and churning out movies way too quickly of late. He needs to be a lil more picky in his roles.
Fatherhood (2021)
Kevin Hart hits the nail on the head
His best movie yet if you ask me. This movie is an emotional rollercoaster and loved every moment of it. A realistic view into the life of a single parent. Amazing. A must watch.
