Hunters (2020)
Hunters Does Not Know Thy Self
I am disappointed because this is such a great idea for a show. Project Paperclip deserves much more recognition than it has garnered.
The execution of the show though, leaves something to be desired. Very more and minuscule character development. And the tone of the show seems to flip between each scene.
Hunters is a blatant rip-off of Tarantino's style. It does a good job of bluntly putting out the themes of anti-semitism and government cover-ups, but many of the facts are misconstrued.
Slow in parts and rushed in others.
Dogma (1999)
One of the More Underrated Movies from the '90s
Kevin Smith made a great one.
A hilarious, yet contemplative piece that makes you take a look at your own faith.
A star-studded cast provided comedic levity throughout while also commanding a ponderance of religion.
I highly recommend this movie for everyone l, regardless of religious views.
Waco (2018)
Great Acting--Misrepresentation of Facts
Taylor Kitsch was absolutely outstanding. That should be said, first and foremost.
The plot gives a sympathetic view to the cult and a makes the government and police agencies look like bumbling, blood-thirsty, glory-hungy fools. While I do find that to be true in many cases, this series completely omits important facts and blatantly changes details. For me, it is hard to take a series seriously that does not adhere to the truth.
