Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011)
What were these guys thinking?
I have a unique ability. I can tell if a movie is going to be good or extremely awful just by viewing a trailer for the movie. When I saw the movie for this trailer I knew the movie was going to majorly suck. First, the Ghost Rider doesn't look anything like he does in the first film. The Hellcycle looks like a remodeled POS unlike the sweet ride he had in the first film and I could tell the story line was weaker then the directing. I honestly don't know why Nicholas Cage ever agreed to do a sequel to this movie. In my opinion, if there was going to be a sequel, Mark Steven Johnson should have directed it. When he directed the first Ghost Rider movie, I was blown away by the look of the characters, the Hellcycle and even the story were very well done. I won't lie, this movie isn't worth watching. Watching paint dry is a lot more fun then this garbage. For you Marvel fans out there, DO NOT watch this movie. Believe me, you be saving money on aspirin. Because that's what this movie is. One big headache.
The Shadow (1994)
A true superhero movie for the decades.
In my honest opinion, you will never be able to find another exciting movie like this one. One of the things that made this movie so amazing was the excellent cast, a storyline that was very well written, an excellent plot, intense action sequences and mind-blowing special effects. When you have the ability to cloud peoples minds and make yourself invisible to them, you don't need a batarang or any other high tech gadget like Batman to put fear into the hearts of criminals. I truly believe that movies like this should always have sequels and hope Hollywood makes one. Taken from 1930's pulp media and then transferred to radio and movies this is definitely one of the greatest superheroes that was ever offered to a wide range of people through the years and I hope it continues.
Werewolf (1987)
This show needs to be brought back.
This show was definitely one of my all time favorites from my childhood. It was this show that not only sparked my interest in the supernatural, but also my love for werewolves. The transformations were very well done but the one thing that got me intrigued was the bleeding pentagram that signaled Eric's transformation was coming. The way this show was written, the in-depth story lines of each of the characters and the constant desire to end the curse as well as helping people in need makes for a very well driven show. It seems such a pity that they only had two seasons with no chance of a cure for Eric at the end. I really hope to see this on DVD sometime or maybe would like to see a remake.
Three Wishes (1995)
This movie was amazing
I actually read a review that Siskel and Ebert gave this movie in my local newspaper. They both said this movie was horrible and gave it a few more bad reviews. Can't remember what it was, but when I saw the movie, I loved every minute of it. This movie basically shows how a simple act of kindness can bring a family closer together in times of desperation. I enjoyed how much thought went into producing such a heart-warming tale and so many times when I watch it, it makes me understand what the family goes through and sympathize with them. For people who want a movie that can truly bring a family together and show that even the most difficult things that occur in life can have a way of working out, this movie will definitely show you that.
