Grey's Anatomy: Give Peace a Chance (2009)
The worst script in a long time
This is one of the worst scripts i've seen in Grey's Anatomy. One dying patient, one operation, one-sided characters only yearning for one thing all along, one ticking clock that doesn't get resolved and becomes a cliffhanger, only very minor twists, constant explanations in the mouth of the characters that really make it look like the producers think their audience are morons, and on top of that, almost zero humor. And look what they have done to Grey, who, contrary to all we know about her personality, becomes a sick wife who happily waits for her genius husband to perform a miracle, instead of moving her ass to the hospital and storm the place. Totally unbelievable. What a waste of good material!
Detroit 1-8-7: Pharmacy Double/Bullet Train (2010)
The actors themselves don't seem to believe in the stupid script
Well-shot, in a post-CSI way, but script-wise, this is one of the worst crime series i have seen in the last ten years. Most actors are good (with some exceptions that look like hard cases of horizontal recruitment) but they just don't seem motivated by their implausible lines and "psychology", and by the inanity of the plot which seems written for a 3-year old audience (while wanting to appear sophisticated at the same time, go figure). And the self-righteousness and lack of humor of the show feels horrible. I'd rather watch 3 episodes of Rizzoli and Isles, a series which has only half of those flaws and at least makes me laugh on purpose sometimes, than one episode of Detroit 1-8-7.
