I generously rated 9 but two issues: First a general law defect that prejudge the guy guilty and assume girl is the victim considering the girl's background and not accessing the confidential psychiatric issues of her... two guys had lost their lives having her involved but first guy arrested and assumed guilty (opposite to what law favors men in the other part of the world). Second question is why his father disappeared following up on his son's case later while at the beginning he is the one got some useful clue about Vanessa's life history!

My friends and I are huge fans of horror movies with good story lines such as Grudge series, movies directed by James Wan and some of Paranormal Activity movies... For this one even though we didn't much like chapter I, the first IT but we decided to dress up according to movie theme and give it a shot! We all got very disappointed and left the theater after 2 hours before the movie even ends! This usually doesn't happen specially in horror movies.

Annabelle Comes Home (2019)

Four of us last night as huge fan of James Wan as director and all characters we seen in previous series were expecting way better and left the theater midnight with disappointment. I never given rate under 8 or 9 to his movies and thought I give 10 to this not 5! Annabelle couldn't scare us last night. However we stay James Wan fan 👻

Reminding Devil Wears Prada

I truly enjoyed it for two major reasons beside the storyline. First it reminded me one of my favorite movies of all time (watched many times in theatre and own it finally): Devil Wears Prada with amazing Meryl Streep and Ann Hathaway. I suppose not to have many favs plus not into Ann according to this ... lol. Second I like Emma.

I sometimes don't understand adding some unnecessary elements (here such as the mask/face cover) kills the frightening horror side of the story in my opinion. But overall was good and even a little over my expectation.

I liked it but I preferred if the director has opened up a little and gave the audience some sort of background clarifications with storyline. It was slightly difficult to follow the accent and subtitles to get the core.

I watch 3-5 movies a week but by far most in the last decades The Artist and this movie were the worse of all time! I am wondering who really think this should even screened in festival. Waste of time and money completely! I am extremely disappointed.

I wish to add to my long review that just submitted: If I was not ended like that (on the last min of episode 267), I would have rated 10 out of 10. If I want to rate the last episode: my rating would be 1 out of ten though! I should mention that dobbling Farsi on it was fantastic!!! I love it!

Endless Love (2015–2017)

I loved and followed all 267 episodes aggressively with passion but I hate the last one and how it ended!!!

I started to watch it few months ago and shortly after a few first episodes it became a part of my daily life. I loved and followed and recommended it to every friend of mine because as an Iranian I related to many part of it culturally. It was well done and except a few minor (whys and how comes...), I truly hooked to this and it glued me to my monitor. I had my breakfasts, lunches and dinners for few months even in bed till 3 am on my tablet... do not need to say this was the longest tv series I have ever seen! I have to tell you this was my first Turkish series and I have to admit the way it ended in last minutes of last episodes (267) , was extremely disappointing, annoying and sadly with terrible impression!!! I expected after tremendous frustrations Emir must have had exploded and Kemal must have survived first if the director or writer of the last episode insisted to have minor changes in ending. The way it ended, gave me the feeling of my time is wasted, bribing and corupption wins at the end! It also brought misjudgment and trust in Turkish justice system. To be honest, just because of last episode and the way it was ended, I do not wish to watch any Turkish series for certain length of time! I do not know how much time I need to heal from the disappointment of the time I had spent watching this lovely series. It killed all the hope and struggle someone could wish when they fight for what they believe in: LOVE. I love to get response from the writer or director of ending episodes!

The Forest (I) (2016)

I liked it and some scenes reminded me powerful Japanese horror movie series: Grudge by Takashi Shimizu.

This movie overall was another blonde girl going go Japan looking for someone!

I liked the story line and main actor and actress... Specially they guy looked half Japanese which was a great choice. Needless to say both were good looking too.

At the end I just felt she didn't try as much as her sister, I think she should have! The poor guy dead for no good reason though!

I am looking forward to The Forest 2 👻

Concussion (2015)

An awesome movie with powerful message: Tell The Truth!

It is certainly not happening every week! We watch movie in theaters on a regular bases and being fully satisfied and inspired by a a good Hollywood movie specially more than once in two weeks in a row is not usual! After SPOTLIGHT, this was another great movie based on true story than many many of us could relate! Don't take me wrong! Like Dr. Umalu in the movie, I am not even a football player! In fact what is called soccer in North America, I known as football. I have not either a player or even a fan of soccer in that term either. What I connected well with this movie is my own life story as an immigrant decades ago which in one day I may share it as a book or possibly movie!

I just wanted to thank every single artist of any kind whom put this together! It was an awesome movie, inspiring storyline based on true event even the time I used to live in States and well done acts.

In fact I should admit I started to Will Smith from this movie! Perfecto!!! Primarily I wanted to watch this as a doctor (I myself piled degrees with honor too!) and the fact that Alec is one of my favorite actors.

Thanks to everyone... I enjoyed every single sense, conversation and message in this movie. If every one of us just: TELL THE TRUTH the world become a better place for everyone! What goes around comes around!

I am sure it wasn't easy to make this! Fantastic job!

Brooklyn (2015)

Every immigrant relates to this great movie!

I enjoyed it very much.

It was a sweet movie and I really liked both main characters. That little brother was so cute and funny and loved it!

What happened to Irish tap dance?! I expected to see that!

Also one of the girls talking to her by the bathroom played as a major actress in a great movie: Magdalen Sisters

The reason I didn't give 10 is because I thought he should have come with her to Ireland since they were already married or she should have taken her mother with going back to Brooklyn!

Well, it was based on a novel so couldn't expect it I guess. Overall every single immigrant could relate to this someway or the other.

Best movie after years! Must Watch 😳

It was such a great movie after a long time! Note that I go out for movie at least once a week.

Great and solid storyline, amazing play, great actors and actresses, and very powerful. I was hooked till the last second.

Overall, no matter where and in what subject, we as a human of the 21st century must be able to question, critic and be united and courageous when it comes to taking action for what we believe is not right or destructive.

Nothing should justify injustice. In general I believe religion has been more abused than used by mankind. It supposed to to makes us a better person and make the world a better place for everyone. However regardless of what religion I believe they all overall failed.

I wish to thank everyone who contributed for making such a remarkable work!

Must Watch! Viva beloved Meryl Streep again!

Fantastic, fantastic and fantastic! Thank you again my beloved actress of all time! I went to watch another movie on my regular Tuesday Movie Nights as I suddenly noticed this lady on the poster looks like Meryl Streep!!! And yes! That was her and I immediately changed my planned movie to see hers not because she is my favorite of all time because she always play in good movies with story lines that are meaningful. No need to say no matter what character she plays, she does a marvelous job! I enjoyed every moment of the movie and it's message. Amazing choice for her daughter in the movie!!! Well, I couldn't wait to write and give her and this movie the maximum rating possible. It actually deserves over 10 specially when it is not easy to see good (non destructive, regular type of movies I come across often) with great story line movies that covers all! Thank you for shinny bright - a real superstar!

The Gift (VI) (2015)

Must See - great storyline & great play!

After watching some Hollywood movies on a weekly base with my friends that is pretty much attracts by its boring visual effects... This was a great movie with good storyline and play. As a detailed oriented critics person, there wasn't anything I didn't like about this movie. Perhaps there are many true stories like that but the way this was directed all I can say is: WELL DONE JOB! I haven't seen some major characters played in this movie before but they did a fantastic job acting in this for sure. A type of movie that you certainly don't regret spending time watching it. My expectation was 7-8 before watching it and I am giving 10 now! Go watch it, you won't regret! What Goes Around, Comes Around! (apparantly sooner or later ...)

Usually as a "doctor", I don't have a company for these type of movies so I go by myself. I LOVE Tatum's act and enjoy movies he is in it. Last time was JumpStreet. He is a volcano of talents and he was playing with his heart in it as he was coaching other fellows in the movie! Great job Tatum! Good for you :) I think regardless of your profession and any sort of cliché you follow, this is a sort of movie you should watch once in a while at least to sit back and relax even by yourself! Overall, I found it full of passion and very well done job in singing, dancing ... I may go into mood of watching it again with someone who might appreciate the art of dance and music beyond borders. Tatum you are awesome man!

The Water Diviner (2014)

Great Movie from my Favorite Actor and now Director!

Overall I was very pleased. A little background about my top 5 Hollywood actors: Robin Williams has been my favorite actor or all time. However, it was very sad we lost him this early and that shocking. Unfortunately last year we lost another favorite of mine (Philip Hoffman)that I was very inspired with his great role in "Doubt" with my No:1 actress: Meryl Streep. I watched that movie over 8 times.

Now I only have one Russell Crowe left that I got very connected to since "Beautiful Mind", one of my top three favorite movies of all time.... I watched it over 6 times.

I was very surprised he was the director and actor when I watched this movie! Well done his play ... but great job in bringing nations together as one human unit regardless of all borders we have created during history of mankind.

Hollywood can really work constructively on bringing all nations together instead of getting involved with politician games and create more distance between nations.

The Age of Adaline (2015)

It was unique and I liked it

Overall I consider it a good movie and I am glad I watched it. It makes you think, reminds me be careful of what you even wish for. These days everyone wishes to stay young forever, in the movie we see the outcome of some wishes. I know it was only her that never got old... the story line was beautiful and it made me to think more and more after I left the theater. I think every one played their role pretty good. I found few parts very touchy: when she was supportive for her daughter just like she is her mom! when she met her old love and his feelings. when she saw the first white hair and he happiness! I remember this movie ... it will stay in my special list. Thankx PS. I wish the beginning had build a little more story before accident so we get better connected...

Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014)

It was better than what I expected

Even-though the main character is not my favorite actor, but it was a story with some points and lesson and entertaining as well. Well I am apparently forced to have 10 lines to be able to submit my review. What if I don't have much to say? I actually end up watching this movie twice just for my friend but it wasn't that good that I truly enjoy or wish to learn more to watch it again. It was OK. Okay since I have to fill the blank, I must say that the fact that among all the guys only one girl in the group became eligible to be a Kings Man! I should admit there were some interesting features in the movie specially her shoes and her walking... lol Okay I guess now I wrote enough!

Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

Take the techniques and 3D from it, NOTHING really!

Overall, I should admit like most Hollywood movies these days are waste of time and money... I only enjoyed partially (I was even generous to give rate 5) the 3D part of it. It is sad to see these type of movie with no soul or good story line to follow or to get connected..., even gets attention and sells in box office. Even if it draws attention beside 3D... it only indicates there is no good movie to compare with... basically the monopoly of movie industry will end of making more movies like that and it kills people's taste in a long run! In general if you don't get connected from the beginning by an above average story line, you won't get much excited with the fast pace and excitement the director tries to implant in the viewer. These type of stories, the moment you leave the cinema it is gone from your head... nothing to think, remember or learn from... I know some people specially young generation are into these type of movie ... By the way what was the message?!
