Take It to the Limit (1979)
Hard to find, but worth the effort
A very good motorcycling movie that features a look at the many facets of Motorcycle sport and pleasure riding. It will inevitably be compared to "On Any Sunday" which was the movie that started the genre. This movie stands on it's own merits, and shows how much had changed in the years since OAS was filmed.
My favorite scenes were the on board camera shots of Mike Hailwood doing a lap of the Isle of Man, and the footage of Kenny Roberts on the TZ 750 miler winning the Indy Mile in 1975.
There plenty of other interesting bits that include an animated scene with Arlo Guthrie explaining his "Motorcycle song", and stunt rider Debbie Evans displaying her trials bike skills.
The Soundtrack stands out as being above par for this type of movie and features Foreigner, Jean Luc Ponty, Tangerine Dream and the aforementioned Arlo Guthrie.
I recommend this movie highly, but you will probably have a hard time finding it.
