Legion: Chapter 5 (2017)
Horror comedy musical super hero TV show
I never thought a SuperHero TV show could get this terrifying. In the previous episodes we kinda got a grip of the horrifying power of David and the Yellow Eyes Demon, but it was never really serious, and it was like rainbow and sunshine comparing to this one. This episode shows us the true potential of David's power, and let's not forget, the Shadow King. When David starts singing "Rainbow connection", we get the hints right there about the existent of the demon. David knew that this monster has always been hiding under the beautiful illusions in his mind, as King, as Lenny. The scene in the old house was truly the most terrifying thing I have ever witnessed in a TV show, not even AHS can compare. Making everything muted gives the moment 10 times the horror it already is. FX is doing great with this TV show, excellent episode, re-thinking about my hope of becoming a mutant now.
South Park: Oh, Jeez (2016)
As a long time fan, I'm deeply disappointed by this episode
Yes, I get it, like what you people say, South Park has always been like this, South Park has always been like that. But this episode is the proof of Trey and Matt lack of preparation for their only hit show. I get it, they usually finish their episodes before air time. But this one just rang the bell of why it's totally a bad idea. 20 minutes of try hard humors with some "not-even-close" reasons they use to explain what was going on and why it happen. I get the ideas of member berries, but all the Star Wars thing and people turn member-zombies is just plain a stupid way to deny that their candidate didn't win, and the one they been bashing the whole season just won (and no, stop saying that they are not biased, they didn't even try to bash Hillary except for calling her turd sandwich, which was an old joke 10 years ago). Knowing that they had to rewrite everything because of the Election result proves further more that they didn't even try to prepare, and would go what ever they can think of in the last minutes. As a SP fan, I hope they change their decision for the future seasons. But this one, it has turned into a complete mess. I give it a 3 because of Bill
The Man in the High Castle: A Way Out (2015)
Every man for himself ... and his people
In this episode, we learn the stories of every "villainous" characters in the most heroic ways. Begin with Obergruppenführer John Smith, he is the man of his family, when it comes to the moment when he may not come back, first thing first, his family. And the man of his nation, the patriot of the Nazi Reich, he does what he has to, for his Fuhrer, for his country. To inspector Kido, the angry man who always does everything seriously. Why? also for his country, the man knows what is needed to be done, and he pulled off what was necessary to prevent a war where his nation will certainly loose. Those are the men who we have been viewing as bad people, but in the end, it's just that we have been seeing it from the wrong angle. Just a minor talk about Rudolph and the Japanese Trade minister, they both have their sad stories, and they both have their depths shown in this episode. This, by far, is why The Man in the High Castle is one of the best shows around.
South Park: Sponsored Content (2015)
The war is coming, and just have to make sure that I'm on the right side
Are you ready? Because this will be one of the best season finally ever, I guarantee it! This episode was going to present something we never expected, something serious, something that has the connection to all the changing around the world... ads. Yes, it's just ads, but somehow it made the episode so intense. Who is this Leslie and what does she have to do with the PC principle? Why South Park? What will happen? I didn't know what to hope, but have been hoping a lot for answers. I know it's about ads, but what did ads do, what do ads do, and what will ads do to mankind ? Only on the next episode on South Park, Comedy Central *this is definitely not an ad*
South Park: Naughty Ninjas (2015)
It is as deep as it is
Through out this whole season, a lot have said that they are not satisfied with any episode because it follows something new. Well I have a new trend for you, South Park has always been like this. It represents the society as a whole, as always has been. This episode, nonetheless, is another masterpiece of South Park in my opinion. The sarcastic way of mocking the society and people, it has always been the same, and this time, it actually makes me feel angered, even almost teared off. Portraiting the true aspect of the hypocritical @ssholes, by representing the people who try too hard to make everyone else to believe that what they are doing is morally right, even themselves. They put what so called their "self righteousness" on other people's rights, while pretending that they are doing good things for the society. In the reality, those people are forgetting the basic commonsense, over-blaming on the people who have been dedicated their lives to help them, and ruining their lives for that "Political Correctness". Officer Barbrady is the representation of the old time world, and the hypocritical liberals, are what're wrong with this world.
South Park: Tweek x Craig (2015)
It went "deep" unexpectedly
From just a fantasy shipping, Trey and Matt made an episode to make fun of all the "gay" shipping between fantasy characters. It was absolute hilarious, but then you realized the deep meaning about our today society. When everyone starts to force you to become the person who you are not, and if you try to defend yourself, the more they will accuse you to be. Tweak and Craig may not be gay or are actually gay, but it wasn't what they chose in the first place when people want them to be together. At that moment, homosexuality is not natural any more. In the end, they both seemed to be a happy couple, but for me, they just seemed to be 2 young best friends. The simple pure friendship between people has been looked in a wrong way, the way that people nowadays want to see, to feel "cool".
South Park: Where My Country Gone? (2015)
Seeing Donald Trump f*cking Donald Trump to death is hilarious
Spoilers
In the beginning, we can see the metaphor of Donald Trump in Mr. Garrison. He shows his hate on the "illegal immigrants" by having hate speeches on the "Canucks". Just like Donald Trump, he defies the P.C and Obama, blaming them on making the immigrants want to go to America. He then raises his army of American supporters to become the new president of the US. With the banner of "Make America great again", "fuck them to death", and build a Wall across the border with Canada, he is now the new Donald Trump. On the other side of the border, the Canadian Donald Trump ran for president, Canadians thought it was a joke but it was too late. He literally built a Wall across the border so that the Americans can't get to Canada. Mr. Garrison crossed it, f*cked the Canadian President to death, and all the Canadians came back to their homeland. From the presentation of the hideous Caitlyn Jenner, to the Canadian Donald Trump. It's been a while since South Park made me to laugh that hard through out the whole 30'. I appreciate every moment of this episode.
