Melodrama @NYC view

The feelings the actor and the actress expected to show do not match the main flow. You miss the sensations; they cannot reflect. Movie starts with a woman who puts her wallet and cell phone into her luggage and luggages are mixed at the airport. The audience is expected to follow everything with this beginning. One asks why someone puts her purse and especially cell phone in her luggage ona very long flight; actually at any flight. Then, other hard-to-believe scenes make you loose your connection with reality. K Tatlitug's performance is a bit better; however way worse than his previous movies.

Sorry, waste of time

Ms Birsel used to make modern comedies, making you really laugh for more than 15 years. Characters, scripts, set-up are mismatched in this movie. Script is based on a rich family's New Year Eve gathering with their neighbors, which that don't know much at all. She is also an actress in this movie, like all of her movies. Her performance is not linked to the character. Cengiz Bozkurt and Boran Kuzum were very good. Her last movie (Aile Arasinda) was on 2017 and her performance both as the script writer and actress were far better. Director of the both movies are the same. All the other actress/actors seems to do well; still the movie cannot entertain you, script failure. Was not funny at all.

Script is important

Well, this is a fiction. Having known this helps to understand history is not fiction but facts. The story barely reflects the fight for independence in Turkey after World War-I. It's respectful to a country's fight against imperialism.

On the other hand it's nostalgic to see historical places in Turkey aside old and mostly deceased actors around 1970s.

In my opinion it's not worth watching. Annoying. Not even mystical. Absurd.

Detached, scattered. It's a movie about a lady diagnosed of a type of brain cancer. Not much feeling is attached for this. Sarah JP's song sucks-sorry
