Fading West (2013)
10/10
From music to movies, Switchfoot keeps getting it right.
10 December 2013
This is a heck of a film. Fans and non-fans alike will love every minute. It evokes a lot of emotion. Often you will laugh, and maybe even cry. It's a great look inside the struggles of being a band, touring 24/7, and living life on the road.

This movie doubles as a surfing film, which means it also provides a fantastic look at some of the best surf spots on the planet, as surfing is a staple of the band members lives. The ocean is where they go to "press the reset button", relieve stress and get amped for whatever lies ahead.

Visually, this movie is stunning. It's a treat for the eyes and ears. The band scores the film themselves and gives you sneak peaks throughout of their upcoming album (Jan. 14, 2014) also titled Fading West. Whether you are a fan or not, this movie is worth checking out.

This film is a great example of the consistent output of quality content Switchfoot has been giving their fans for the past 15 years. And from the looks of it, they won't be stopping anytime soon.
