Unicorn Store (2017)
Brilliant. A few teary eyed moments
I just wanna say how much I loved this film. It's very different and that what makes it great. I suggest all people who feel lost in their life's, all creatives, and all people who were creatives who gave up on their dreams watch this film. Great acting and something new for all.
Fear the Walking Dead (2015)
It gets a lot better
I was unsure about how I liked this show, where it was good or not, but come the end of season 3 I am very happy I stuck around.
Season 3 was very outstanding, it was great and it is great in its own right, being a entire separate entity to The Walking Dead. It explores things, and ideas that The Walking Dead has never touched on and it is backed by strong writing, great acting, and brilliant camera work, editing, makeup and everything all round.
Yes there is some stall parts in season 2 but it has revived itself and become strong than ever.
The End of the F***ing World (2017)
Modern Art
Great camera work, brilliant acting, perfectly set scores/music, and intriguing scenes, had me always wanting to know what happens next in this series. I watched all 8 episodes without stopping, the first time I've ever binged a series as a whole.
The show made me feel many things, hope, curiosity, it gave me suspense, it made me smile and cry. It was relatable to an extent. It was realistic. It was intense. It had me consumed as a whole, forgetting the entire world for entire length. I loved it.
The episodes are the perfect run time to always have you feeling satisfied at the end without making you feel, was that it?
The ending was great, and I don't want a second season. NETFLIX PLEASE DON'T.
Jonah from Tonga (2014)
Another hit show from Chris Lilley
Jonah from Tonga the predecessor to Chris's previous show Ja'mie Private School Girl is a great show, edgy but great. The dark comedy has a slow start as you will wonder what it is leading to but shortly after watching the second episode, you know your in it for the long run; each episode just gets better and better. The show shows light to many issues that are a reality, it very real, but its hilarious at the same time. The character Chris has created has a lot of depth, that will be hard for many people to see, the character Jonah may seem ridiculous to you after watching the series, but he is very real. Ultimate this show is another great representation to the genius Chris Lilley is, to date I find it to be his best work.
